OVERVIEW
- Fantasy debuted as a six-member group before expanding to a 10-member group in the 1990s. The group rose to popularity immediately and held numerous sold-out concerts for their fans.
- In 1996, the group participated in the 5th RTM National Dialect Comedy Competition and came in as the champion. They then signed with a management company and released their first album which received overwhelming response. Back in the day, Fantasy was also the first Malaysian canto pop band to be invited to perform in Genting Highlands in the early 90's.
- The band was invited to perform in Hong Kong in 1998, boosting their popularity in the region. Their success translated to other international countries not long after, proving their talent and spark in the music industry.
- Y.Y., the previous female lead singer in the group also held a successful concert in Resorts World Genting on April 22nd. This time round, Fantasy will perform as a group to bringing you the greatest hits from the 80s & 90s.
