SYNOPSIS
TEDxUplandsSchool is a certified TEDx event hosted by the students of The International School of Penang (Uplands). It is an evening filled with talks from speakers of all ages expressing their thoughts on the chosen theme of "The future, the present and our place in it" as well as previous TED videos. They may talk about scientific advancements, economic outlooks, global purchasing trends, climate and energy change trends, food habits, or basically anything that seems to be on the verge of a change. The idea is to compare, contrast and draw parallels between where we stand and what lies ahead, so that the community as a whole are encouraged to think retrospectively about their environment and the world around them.
