"Run, Walk, Inflatables, Family Fun & much more", "A fundraising event by HOPE worldwide Malaysia "

HOPE Bolathon Charity Fun Run & Masquerade Walk 2018 is a charitable, fun & sports-themed event, inspired by the 4-years-once Global football world cup event". Its objective is to bring family and friends together for a fun & memorable time, and raise funds for HOPE worldwide Malaysia’s Community Programs for the underprivileged which focuses on Health, Food & Education.

Note:

i)RM95.00 is inclusive of online registration services.

ii) * For Family Run, there is a free admission for a maximum of 2 children of 15 years & below under 1 adult registration. Registration of children details are needed with the online portal for insurance purposes.

Race kit Collection

Note:

i) Strictly no collection on event day

ii) Please take note that upon closure of the distribution hall on Saturday, 23rd June 2018, 3.00PM, all the uncollected race kits will be deemed as unwanted and therefore become the property of the organizers. The organize reserves the right to dispose or redistribute the race kits in any manner deemed appropriate.

iii) Strictly NO exchange of T-shirt Sizes on the race kit collection day. Kindly refer to the T-Shirt size chart below:

iv) No late collection of race kits will be entertained

To collect your race entry pack, you may bring along the printout or softcopy ( via your smartphone) of your confirmation slip/email together with your I/C or Passport. You may appoint a representative to collect your race entry pack on your behalf. The representative must present the following:

·       Printout of your confirmation slip

·       Letter of authorisation signed by you (it is at the bottom of your confirmation slip)

·       Representative’s IC / passport

·       Photocopy of your IC / passport

Race Kit Collection

• Strictly no collection on event day
• Please take note that upon closure of the distribution hall on Saturday, 23rd June 2018, 3.00PM, all the uncollected race kits will be deemed as unwanted and therefore become the property of the organizers. • Strictly no changes in T-shirt sizes will be allowed
• No late collection of race kits will be entertained

Water Stations

Refreshments stations will be made available on route.

Lucky Draw

There will be a lucky draw conducted during the event day with random pick of winners using the bib number.

Adult Responsibility 

 An adult registration for Family Run (3KM) is allowed to bring a maximum of 2 children of 15 years old and below for free. The adult must take full responsible of their wellbeing pre, during and after the run. Registration of the children details are required for insurance purposes only. The children are not entitled runner T-shirts, finisher medal, lucky draw and etc. 

Baggage

There will be NO baggage handling services during the event day.

Tax Exempt Receipt

Tax exempt receipt is available for all donations contributed to Persatuan Kebajikan HOPE worldwide Kuala Lumpur: 

• Only 1 tax exempt receipt is issued for a donation
• The tax exempt receipt can be requested during your Bolathon registration with the ticket2u online portal
• The tax exempt receipt can be collected together with the race kit collection
• The tax exempt receipt will be issued under the name as per your Identification Card. Kindly ensure that your registration name is as per your IC.

Waiver

1. The organizer reserves the right to use any photograph (including those of participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the event taken before, during and after the event, for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising and distribution to sponsors.
2. The organizer reserves the right to amend the run & walk route as they deem fit for the safety of the participant and/or to prevent any potential hazards in the running of the event, at any time without prior notice to the participant. In such cases, every effort will be made to inform the participant prior to the date of the event. The organizer shall not be liable for any other loss or inconvenience caused due to such changes.
3. The organizers reserve the right to delay the commencement of the race in the event of heavy rain or thunder storm or extreme weather condition. Should the heavy rain, thunder storm or extreme weather condition persist after delay, the organizers reserve the right to cancel the race without any refund. In the event of heavy rain or thunder storm or catastrophic or natural disaster resulting in a postponement or cancellation of the above event, the organisers shall not be held responsible for any claims including refund whatsoever in any form made by any individual or parties concerned.
4. Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by the organizer to ensure the participant safety, participants run at their own risk and the organizer will not be responsible or held liable for any injury or death howsoever arising from training for or during participation in the race. Participants are strongly encouraged to go for a medical examination and or consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual race day.
5. The organizer reserves the right to remove any participant deemed physically incapable of continuing with the race to prevent him/her form causing greater harm or injury to him/her.
6. The decision of the organizer is final when accepting entries. The organizer reserves the right to limit or refuse an entry without having to disclose a reason.
