NEW MALAYSIA SUMMIT 2018.
BUILDING A NEW MALAYSIA, FULFILLING HOPE.
The New Malaysia, a label now popularly used to describe the new Pakatan Harapan Government after GE14 should be certainly better than the previous administration ruling the country. The New Malaysia as stated by the Prime Minister, Y.A.B. Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad should even be an improvement on the period during which he was the Prime Minister for 22 years ago. A clear statement that the government would have to go back to democracy and the rule of law and respect for the wishes of the people. The people have shown that they did not like the previous government, and of course the new government have to take corrective action to bring back the country to its former organisation.
The International Strategy Institute (ISI) will be organising the New Malaysia Summit in Kuala Lumpur. This inaugural National Summit is an important platform for Ministers and relates ministries, agencies, business leaders, academia, NGOs and civil society to address emerging issues, exchanging ideas, sharing of knowledge and experiences, with an aim to collectively develop our country, Malaysia, to its glorious era and beyond. The New Malaysia Summit gives a platform to openly discuss on pending issues and related matters, policies of the new government as we embark into the 4.0 Industrial Revolution for the betterment of the county and for the people.
The theme, “Building a New Malaysia, Fulfilling Hope”, aims to address how the new government can respond to periods of change over the growing challenges through uncertainty in political, economic and social
environment to ensure continuation of business sustainability.
