- There is RM100 registration fee for Robo Athletics Competition. RM50 is the deposit that will be refunded to the participants after the event.
- RM100 will not be refunded if participant pull out from the competition without any further notice.
3. The organizer reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice.
The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
Robot Athletics’ Rules
Rule 01 The mission is to finish a round trip along the circular track and is processed with RC/Autonomous robot.
Rule 02 It is disqualified If robot does not walk forward intentionally.
Rule 03 Robot should prepare to start inside the START line (blue line) and robots are placed by participant(s).
Rule 04 Mission is finished when the robot makes one lap around the track and passes through the FINISH line (red line).
Rule 05 Time limit is 5 minutes
Rule 06 It is disqualified if the robot leaves the track (black line).
Rule 07 The rank is decided by lap time.
Rule 08 Participants are not allowed to touch their robot once the match has started.
Rule 09 Two obstacles are installed randomly (it will not be installed on curved section) If robot hits the obstacle, 10 seconds are added to the record as a penalty.
Rule 10 Only ONE robot can run on the track. The robot will be considered as IMMOBILIZED and will be DISQUALIFIED if it is unable to MOVE from any point.
Rule 11 It will be given 15 seconds (counted by referee) when the robot falls. If the robot UNABLE get back on its own feet, inside the arena, within the 15 seconds, and without external assistance, the robot will be DISQUALIFIED.
Rule 12 The robot who reaches the finish line with the shortest time will be the winner of the game. If there is more than ONE robot has the same time record, REMATCH will be considered.
Rule 13 Only ONE retry is allowed for each team on each match.
Rule 14 Participants will be given 2 minutes of Servicing-Time before the start of each matches in a game.
Rule 15 Each team can only handle ONE same robot throughout the event. Each robot should only have one same handler. The handler and robot will be identified during registration.
