Cai Xiao Hu is often dubbed the King of Hokkien love songs. He is remembered for songs such as “The Unforgettable Memory” and “The Golden Ferris Wheel”, as well soundtracks used in many highly-rated Taiwanese drama series.
His equally acclaimed counterpart Long Qian Yu began her singing career in Mandarin music before switching to Hokkien songs in 1987. She has since delivered many hit songs well-received by the Hokkien-speaking community across Asia.
