“Operations keep the lights on, strategy provides the light at the end of the tunnel, but project management is the train engine that moves the organisation forward” – Joy Gumz
Every business organisation needs capable managers to take on multiple projects and ‘see them through’. Project management requires the practical application of specific knowledge, leadership skills, supportive resources, and techniques to deliver projects in accordance to customer’s specifications and on time! The project life cycle is often clearly phased into several important stages. Each phase addresses a specific aspect of managing a project from start to end.
This programme is designed for business managers leading internal (office) or external (business) projects. The course covers the complete project lifecycle — from project initiation and planning, through project implementation, and project completion phase. Methods, techniques and processes, that will be needed to confidently complete projects successfully, will be presented.
Upon completion of this programme, participants will be able to:
- identify stakeholders’ needs
- determine project scope, cost, schedule, and quality objectives
- manage each stage of the project life cycle
