Event Description

The Sixth International Conference on Computational Science and Technology 2019 (ICCST2019) is an international scientific conference for research in the field of advanced computational science and technology, to be held during 29-30 August 2019, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.

Computational Science and Technology is a rapidly growing multi- and interdisciplinary field that uses advanced computing and data analysis to understand and solve complex problems. The absolute size of many challenges in computational science and technology demands the use of supercomputing, parallel processing, sophisticated algorithms and advanced system software and architecture.

With the recent developments in open-standard hardware and software, augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), automation, humanized big data, machine learning, internet of everything (IoT) and smart home technology, webscale information technology, mobility and physical-digital integrations, new and efficient solutions are required in Computational Science and Technology in order to fulfilled the demands from these developments.

The conference is hosted by the Knowledge Technology Research Unit (KTRU), Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). Building on the previous FIVE conferences that include Regional Conference on Computational Science and Technology (RCSST 2007), the four International Conference on Computational Science and Technology (ICCST2014, ICCST2016, ICCST2017 and ICCST2018), the Sixth International Conference on Computational Science and Technology 2019 (ICCST2019) offers practitioners and researchers from academia and industry the possibility to share computational techniques and solutions in this area, to identify new issues, and to shape future directions for research, as well as to enable industrial users to apply leading-edge large-scale high-performance computational methods.

Step 1 - Registration 

It is mandatory for at least one author of the accepted paper to register in order for the paper to be published in the conference proceedings published by Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering (LNEE) - Springer (Indexed by EI and SCOPUS). If an author has got more than one accepted papers, each paper has to be registered. For Registration Fee kindly refer to the table above.

Step 3 - Camera Ready Paper Submission

You have to submit the camera ready paper in accordance with the standard Conference Proceedings. Maximum allowed pages (while submitting the camera ready paper) WITHOUT Extra page charge is 10 (ten) pages.

Step 4 - Completing Your Registration

Paper Submission deadline: 1st March 2019
Notification of Paper Acceptance: 1st May 2019
Camera Ready Paper Submission Deadline: 1st July 2019

5. The scanned copy of the proof of payment in pdf format.
6. The report on how do you revised your paper aligned with reviewer comments in txt format.
7. Please provide Plagiarism Checker using either CrossCheck or Turnitin onto your Revised Full Paper and send the report as well (25% and Below).

1. All the conference attendees should be registered. Only registered authors can participate in conference and present their papers. If the registered author is absent, another co-author if his/her status can present the paper. If a student availed the deduction facility while registering and he/she is unable to make it, then another co-author student can present the paper. Only full time scholars and students can avail the student deduction facility. Students should submit the scanned copy of the Identity Card along with the Bonafide Certificate from the Head of the College/University. 
2. After performing the wire-transfer, please email a copy of the transaction to us at [email protected] for record management.
3. All bank charges are to be borne by the participant.
4. Payments made are NOT refundable.
5. Registration fee can be paid to the Organizing Committee through bank transfer. Registration can only be secured and confirmed when payment has been received.
