Event Description

The Sunset Charity Run4Fund has become an annual event and is jointly organised by Palm Resort Berhad and TJ Mart Kulai. The charity run that takes place at the golf course is aimed to give participants who are non-golfers the opportunity to experience first-hand, running in a golf course. The event this year which will be the 5th installment of the annual Run, will be conducted on a new trail. It will be on the Allamanda Course, the most scenic of all the three courses at Palm Resort Golf & Country Club. It promises a totally different view as compared to previous runs. One will be captivated by the flora and fauna, the water features and the superbly contoured layout of the course. While runners revel in the fresh air and astounding views, they can run with peace of mind within a safe environment, free from road perils. The Sunset Charity Run is the biggest annual CSR event for the resort and all proceeds will go towards aiding the Palliative Care Association of Johor Bahru to continue carrying out their good work with cancer patients. Therefore, we hope the community will join in to run, at the same time take the extra mile to do a good deed for others in our society.

Rules & Regulation

• Closing date for registration is 19^th July 2019. Registration after this date will not be accepted.
• For but not submitted within the deadline will not be accepted.
• Participant below the age of 18 are required to seek parental/guardian consent. Parents/guardian is required to sign on the indemnity declaration.
• All entrée fees / donation proceeds are non-refundable once registration has been submitted.
• The Organisers reserve the right to delay the commencement of the race in the event of inclement weather. Should the inclement weather persist after delay, the Organisers reserve the right to cancel the race without refund as proceeds goes for charity.
• Collection of T-Shirt will be based on first-come-first-serve basis. Shall the particular size is unavailable; the next available size will be given.
• Participants must run on the designated path for the entire route. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
• The Organisers reserve the right to use any pictures, motion pictures or any other record of the race and its participants for any legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising.
• The Organisers reserve the right to contact and to interview applicants by phone or otherwise for additional information required for matters relating to their applications.
• Each runner must ensure his/her health condition is fit before participating and during the race. Each runner is responsible for his/her own health condition.
• The Organisers reserve the right to disallow/disqualify any person who is known or suspected to be physically unfit to participate in the run.
• The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify or exclude any person from competition who gives incorrect personal data / details on the entry form, or who is suspected of having taken banned substances. No refund of entry fee will be arranged.
• Transfer of registration is not allowed and any substitution of runners must be with the consent of the Organizer and they will not be entitled to any prizes or other entitlement and shall assume any risk at their own expenses.
• In case a runner meets another runner who is in need of medical or emergency aid, he/she must render help and inform the organizers for medical assistance.
• The Organizer will not be responsible for any loss and/or damage, personal or otherwise, to the belongings 
• The Organiser reserve the right to modify or substitute any of these rules & regulations and/or term & conditions from time to time as they deem fit. If there is ambiguity in any of these provisions, the Organiser shall be the authority to interpret and in doing so, they will take into account the interests of all the affected participants. Any amendments to these rules & regulations and/or term & conditions will be updated on the official social media page. 

• If the Participant's original bib number is lost or cannot be found during Race Entry Pack Collection, the Organiser reserves the right to charge for any replace of bib number. The Organiser reserves the right to amend or substitute any Participant’s running bib at any time without prior notice to the Participant.
• Participants must attach the assigned bib on the front of their running attire. Participants not wearing a bib will not be allowed entry to the lucky draw and winning entitlement.

CHILDREN (NON-COMPETITION) 6-12 Years Old

• Children are required to register for the run and no number bib is required. 
• Children are required to be accompanied by parents. 
• The organizer shall not be held liable for any accident or injuries during the event.
