SPECIAL MESSAGE BY IIUM SPORTS DEVELOPMENT CENTER
All runners must wear proper sportswear. No shorts or sleeveless tee will be allowed inside the campus. However, you can wear tights or compressions (3/4 or long or at least knee level and below). This rule also applies to all supporters and spectators.
BRING YOUR OWN BOTTLE (BYOB)
Please bring your own bottle and drop it at Water Station Counter during Race Pack Collection.
Please mark your bottle with your race bib number.
RECOMMENDED ITEMS (NOT MANDATORY)
Hydration bag or belt
Headwear or cap
Sports gel or bar
DROP BAG COUNTER
There will be a drop bag counter at Start/Finish line.
Please help to pack your things properly and tag with your race bib number.
We will dispose any drop bag that is not collected 2 hours after the cut-off time.
We will not be liable for any damage to your items.
To withdraw your drop bag just show your race bib number.
BIB TRANSFER
Transfer window TO BE CONFIRMED. No one should use another runner race bib. If you are caught doing so, your race bib will be marked and we will DQ you. You and the race bib owner will be banned from UIA Ultra for 2 years.
REFUND & CANCELLATION
There will be no refund upon cancellation of event by runner.
There will be no refund upon cancellation of event due to weather, natural disasters or law.
In case of heavy thunderstorm etc, The Race Director has the right to cancel or postpone the event.
DISQUALIFIED (DQ)
You will be disqualified if we found you cheating by taking shortcuts, use any sort of vehicle for assistance, using other runners race bib number or commit any act harmful to other runners and event officials.
Your race bib will be marked and you are not eligible for finisher items.
DID NOT FINISH (DNF)
You will be considered as did not finish the race if you are unable to complete 53 KM within the event cut-off time. If you decided to quit during the race, kindly report to the officials available near you and follow further instructions. You may return to the finish line by yourself or in case of injuries, wait for medical assistant.
Your race bib will be marked and you are not eligible for finisher items.
FACILITIES
There will be shower rooms and toilets inside the stadium.
Camp-zone will be available for runners & personal crews to stay. Runners need to bring their own tent as there will be no tent provided. Camp-zone area time is TBC.
PARKING
No vehicle to be parked at stadium area or road side. Please park your vehicle at IIUM parking space near the stadium (100 meters walk). The parking space can accommodate up to 800 cars.
SAFETY AND INSURANCE
Pavement or pedestrian walk or any path should be used as running path during the entire course especially at the main road.
Besides the main road, there is no walking path so you can run on the road. Please look out for cars coming in and out.
There will be medical personnel on standby at the race site.
Ambulance service is on standby as well for emergency cases.
Participants are responsible to ensure that they are fit and healthy before starting the race.
Please consult your doctor if there is any doubt.
Participants are to accept the risk associated with the event as per indemnity clause stated in the registration form.
The Organiser, and all its partners and sponsors will not be held responsible for any claim resulted from this event.
It is recommended that you have personal accident insurance or health insurance.
