GFRIEND is a six-member South Korean group consisting of Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji. The group was formed in 2015 by entertainment company Source Music, and has since released two studio albums, one compilation album, seven Eps, and one repackaged album in Korea that were all very well-received by their fans whom they adoringly refer to as ‘BUDDY’. GFRIEND’s 2nd mini album title song, ‘Me Gustas Tu’ achieved 100 million streaming on Gaon chart in 2016 as a very first girl group. The group has received a total of eighty awards, fifty-three from music programs and twenty-seven from award shows. For such a young group, their rise to fame is explosive.
