1. General
1.1 All registered Participants for Still, We RUN shall be bound by the terms as mentioned below (‘the Rules and Regulations’). Failure to do so may result in disqualification from the event and nullification of the Participant's attendance.
1.2 All Participants are required to register for Still, We RUN via the Ticket2U website (except for those registering under a school or educational institution). By registering for the event, the Participants and/or their parents/ guardians are deemed to have read through the Terms and Conditions and have given permission to the Organizer to collect, analyse and use the Participants and/or their parents’/guardians data and information as the Organizer deems fit. The Organizer shall abide by Malaysian laws and handle all personal data with proper discretion.
1.3 The registration made online by the Participants will only be processed and validated after confirmation of receipt of registration fees by the Organizer. Upon confirmation of registration, a confirmatory email will be sent out to every Participant to confirm personal details as well as provide each Participant with their unique identification number (will be printed on each Participant’s race bibs). There will be no refunds for any reasons after payment has been made and the registration of any Participant is non-transferable to any other party. All payments are to be made in ringgit Malaysia.
1.4 Upon registration, all Participants have given consent and authority to the Organizer to use any photograph, motion pictures, recording or any other media records (including those of the Participants of Still, We Run) for the purposes deem fit by the Organizer.
1.5 Except for Participants with mobility impairments, all items such as pets, bicycles, in-line skates, prams, push carts, shoes with built-in or attached rollers and any other wheel-run objects are not permitted throughout the entire event. Participants having mobility impairment that require any assistive devices must contact the personnel in charge for the event or notify the Organizers through email to receive an email of authorization for such devices. Failure to comply may result in the disqualification of the Participant in the event.
1.6 Confirmation and acceptance of registration will be forwarded via email to all Participant’s email address provided in the e-Registration Form within 7 working days from the date the Organizer received the e-Registration Form. Any Participant who does not receive the confirmatory email within this duration may contact the Organizer by the contact number or email provided.
1.7 The confirmation email will be used as proof acceptance of participation and for eligibility to collect the race pack provided for the event. The Participants shall collect the race pack according to the instructions given by the Organizer. All unclaimed race packs for the event may be disposed by the Organizer at its sole discretion after the day of the event. All unclaimed items left behind during the event may be disposed of by the Organizer at its sole discretion after 1 week of the event.
1.8 All Participants are not permitted to carry or wear any sharp, explosive or potentially dangerous items during the event. The organizer holds every right to detain participants or refuse admission if the Participant is unwilling to remove such objects before the event. The Organizer holds no responsibility to the placement or safe keeping of the Participant’s properties such as shoes, cell phones, bags or any other belongings. All Participants are responsible for the loss and safety of all their belonging throughout the event.
1.9 Still, We RUN shall continue to be carried out, rain or shine. In the case of any extreme weather (i.e. lightning, severe rainstorms, extreme haze), the Organizer reserves every right to postpone, reschedule or cancel the event altogether. The Organizer reserves every right to make last minute adjustments to the schedule of the event to address any safety concerns for the benefit of all Participants. In the case of cancellation of event due to unforeseen circumstances, there will be no refunds of entry fees. Each Participant must accept any risk of their entry fees and understand that all amounts collected have already been used to develop and produce the event. Our utmost priority would be to ensure the run would take place under a fair and safe condition and we promise to make every effort in assuring that decisions shall be carried out under much discretion with regards to the overall event and course safety.
1.10 All entries are not transferable, refundable nor deferrable.
2 Age Requirements
2.1 Participants must be 13 years and older as of the Still, We RUN to participate in all categories available for the event (both 5km and 10km).
2.2 Participants of age 7 to 12 years old require the accompaniment of an adult supervisor (parent/guardian). Failure to meet this requirement may result in the right by the Organizer to refuse the Participants from attending the event. Any Participants 7 to 12 years old must have their registration verified and submitted by their parent/guardian on their behalf. The parent/guardian must ensure the understanding, observance, compliance, adherence of the Rules and Regulations stated in the Terms and Conditions of the event.
2.3 At all times must the Participants aged 7 to 12 years old be accompanied by their parent/guardian during the event. All accompanying parent/guardian is required to register and participate in the event. Any accompanying parent or guardian not participating would not be allowed to participate in the event, also nullifying any Participant that require supervision to be denied entry for the event.
2.4 Participants of age 7 to 12 years old are required to obtain parental/guardian consent and complete the relevant indemnity declaration form as deemed necessary by the Organizer upon registration, failing which, the Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to that Participant.
2.5 Any children aged 6 years and below are not permitted to participate in the event.
3 Loss and Damage
3.1 All Participants must ensure the care of their personal belongings and the public properties or amenities in the vicinity of Still, We RUN’s location. In the event any Participants cause any damage to the surrounding environment, public properties or amenities during Still, We RUN, the Participant must fully indemnify the Organizer or any third party in respect of such damage or loss.
3.2 The Organizer shall not be held liable for any loss of personal belongings of any Participants or any damages or loss caused to public amenities incurred by the Participants throughout the event.
3.3 Any belongings found during the event shall be kept by the Organizer up till 1 week of the event. After the duration stated, if there are no claims towards the left items, the Organizer reserves the right to dispose of the unclaimed items as deem fit.
4 Cancellation
4.1 The Organizer reserves the sole and absolute right to postpone, cancel, interrupt or stop the event due to any unforeseen circumstances, which includes adverse weather conditions, national emergency, war, pestilence, strike, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, tempest, dangerous situation or any other events beyond the control of the Organizer before prior notice. The Participants shall not have any other claim for costs damages compensation whatsoever against the Organizer.
5 Health and Fitness
5.1 All Participants upon registration are deemed to be medically fit and able in participating Still, We RUN.
5.2 While precautions would be taken in ensuring the utmost safety of all Participants, the Organizer shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury or death arising from the participation of the Participants in Still, We RUN.
5.3 A Participant must retire from the race immediately if required to do so by any member of the official medical staff, organizing committee and/or security officers present during the event.
6 Conduct
6.1 All Participants are required to behave appropriately and considerately throughout the entire event. Any obstruction or any act of annoyance (i.e. destruction, aggression) displayed by Participants is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will allow the Organizer to refuse participation during the event and seek the intervention of the relevant authorities to ensure order and safety of all other Participants at Still, We RUN.
6.2 Participants are strictly prohibited from bringing, consuming or possessing any illegal substances at the event or carrying any arms, which include weapons, smoke bombs, compressed gas containers or blades of any kinds. Any Participants who breach this rule shall immediately be handed to the relevant authorities by the Organizer.
6.3 All Participants are required to wear the T-shirt and race bib provided by the Organizer for identification purposes throughout the event. 10km Participants would also receive checkpoint items to ensure that each Participant follows the path determined by the Organizer.
6.4 Any Participant who commences the run before the actual flag-off of his/her registered category will be immediately disqualified.
6.5 If any Participant does not follow the race routes set by the Organizer (i.e. taking short cuts, forgoing checkpoints) and is unable to present checkpoint items at the finishing line, the Organizer reserves every right to withhold from presenting Participants with their medals or prizes.
7 Race Pack and Finisher Medal Collection
7.1 Late collection will not be entertained and the Organizer shall not be liable for any other loss or inconvenience caused, due to Participant's inability to collect their race pack. For avoidance of doubt, Still, We RUN is not obligated to extend the collection period or to ensure that a Participant receives his or her race pack.
7.2 The collection of respective race pack is the sole responsibility of the Participant. Race packs which are not collected during the day of the event will be deemed unwanted and may be disposed of or re-distributed as the Organizer deem fit.
7.3 Race packs are non-exchangeable upon collection and Participants are not permitted to change their t-shirts to a different size. The Organizer reserves every right to not entertain specific requests from any Participants for the replacement of any lost or damaged race packs.
7.4 All Participants who successfully complete the race in his or her chosen race category will be awarded a Finisher’s Medal upon the end of their race within the time frame.
7.5 All Participant's Finisher Medal must be collected on the day of the event. No requests thereafter will be entertained and the Organizer reserves every right to dispose or re-distribute any uncollected medals after the day of the event as deem fit.
7.6 Images shown are for illustration purposes only and may not be an exact representation of the entitlements. Actual products may vary in terms of color, size, specification or weight and are subject to change or enhancement without any prior notice. Any items provided by the Organizer on the event day is non-exchangeable for cash.
7.7 The Organizer reserves the right to change the entitlements to a comparable alternative should there be any unforeseen circumstances.
8 Prizes
8.1 The ruling of the Organizer regarding winners for the event is final and absolute. The Organizer reserves the rights not to entertain any dispute or appeal regarding the results of the event.
8.2 All prizes presented on the day of the event are non-exchangeable for money and upon transfer to each winner, the care of the prizes shall be the sole responsibility of the winners. No loss or damage of the prizes shall be compensated by the Organizer after the transfer in ownership during the Prize Ceremony.
9 Miscellaneous
9.1 Where any ambiguous situation arises from the interpretation of any Rules and Regulations, the Organizer shall be designated authority to interpret it and any such interpretation of the terms of the Organizer shall be final and binding.
9.2 Any final decisions made by the Organizer throughout the event shall be acknowledged by all Participants and the Organizer reserves every right to alter any Rules and Regulations or Terms and Conditions as deemed fit for the safety of the Participants and smooth running of the event.
9.3 The Organizer reserves every right to make any amendments, deletion or substitute any part of the Rules and Regulations whether wholly or partially as and when it deems appropriate without prior notice to the Participants.
9.4 The Rules and Regulations shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute, controversy, claim, all actions and/or proceedings arising out of in connection to the Rules and Regulations shall be subjected to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia and shall be binding upon the Participants.
9.5 All Participants are deemed to have read the Terms and Conditions as well as Rules and Regulations for Still, We RUN upon receiving the confirmatory registration email for the event and must comply with all terms stated throughout the entire event.
