A run for all ages, Run People Run - BMSM Kajang Charity Run is here!

Make a date with BMSM Kajang for its Charity Run on 13th October 2019 (Sunday). This Charity Run is a good opportunity for participants from Kajang and even its neighbouring areas such as Semenyih, Balakong, Serdang and Sungai Long to explore Kajang town and its outskirts. Kajang landscape is undergoing much development, so much so it has become a happening place. Come join us to explore the charming sights and pleasant atmosphere of Kajang. This charity run will take us through nooks and corners that you might have visited during your younger days.

This charity run with the theme ‘Run People Run 2.0’ is held in conjunction with the 20th anniversary of Buddhist Missionary Society Malaysia Kajang Branch (BMSM Kajang). We organise this charity run with the aim to raise funds for our center and also donate part of the proceeds to selected charitable organizations as a way of expressing our gratefulness to the people of Kajang for their continuous support.

We fervently encourage Kajang folks to come out in full force, with family, friends and neighbours, for an exciting, memorable and fun time. Together, we can make this charity run a pleasant and unforgettable experience for all of us.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS SITE.

1. Run People Run 2.0 (the “Event”) is organized by Buddhist Missionary Society Malaysia Kajang Branch (the “Organizer”) on 13th October 2019 at 6.00am at Stadium Kajang.
2. The Organizer reserves the right to change, modify, add, or remove any of these Terms and Conditions of Use from time to time as they deem fit. If there is ambiguity in any of the provisions, the Organizers shall be the authority to interpret and in doing so, the Organizers will take into account the interests of all the affected Participants.
3. Any updates or changes of these Terms and Conditions of Use will be effective when posted on the official Event’s website, http://rpr2019.bmsmkj.com/, with no other notices provided. It is the responsibility of the affected Participant to keep abreast with any changes.
4. Registration to any of the Event is possible only through the online registration platform available on the Event’s official website, or by any alternative way indicated by the Organizer. Registration of the Event will only be confirmed upon successful completion of payment.
5. Participants are fully aware of and understand the full risks involved in their participation in the Event, in regards to possible damages, or harm to their health. The Organizer will provide every measure to ensure that the Event is of the highest standard and the safest level. However, no responsibility shall lie upon the Organizer in the event of accident or injuries incurred as a result of the run.
6. The Organizers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the Event at any time without prior notice to the Participants, in which case the Organizers will make effort to inform the Participants prior to the date of the Event. If the Event has to be cancelled or postponed, there shall be no refunds of fees paid unless the Organizers deem fit to give a refund and the Organizers shall not be held liable for any loss or inconvenience caused.
7. The Organizers reserve the right to delay the commencement of the race in the events of heavy rain, thunderstorm or extreme weather condition(s). Persist after delay, the organizers reserve the right to cancel the race without any refund. In the event of heavy rain or thunderstorm or catastrophic or natural disaster resulting in postponements or cancellation of the above events, the organizers shall not be held responsible for any claims whatsoever in any form made by individual or parties concerned.
8. Each participant is entitled to one (1) Lucky Draw Entry. Unauthorized tear of the lucky draw coupon may result in the disqualification of your Lucky Draw Entry. The Lucky Draw prizes are not transferable, exchangeable for cash or any other items. The organizer reserves the rights to amend/delete/add to these term and condition with or without any prior notice at anytime.
9. The Organizer will not be liable for any loss and/or theft of personal objects of the participants. Bicycles, motorized vehicles and rollerblades, not belonging to the organization team, are prohibited on the course during the Event. Your personal items and run kit including running gear, wetsuits and any clothing are your responsibility and it is up to you to ensure the safekeeping of these items.
10. The Organizer reserve the right to use any photography (including those of participants) motion pictures, recordings or any other media records of the event taken before, during, after the events, for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising and distribution to Sponsors. 11. The Organizer will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or any other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer hardware, computer software, data or other property due to your use of Run People Run 2.0 internet website.
12. I am fully aware of and understand the full risks involved in my participation in the race, in regards to possible damages, or harm to my health.
13. In consideration and in return for being allowed to participate in the Event, I release and agree not to sue the Releasers from all present and future claims regarding my participation in the Events that may be made by me, my family, estate, heirs or assigns.
14. If I am aged under 18 years, I will have these terms and conditions viewed and signed by my legal guardian (on physical forms) or agreed (through the online entry process) in order for me to compete in the event, and that my legal guardian will be responsible for my safety during the event.
