Rules & Regulations for GED E-Sports Tournament 2019: League of Legends (LOL)
1. Player Eligibility
1.1 Player Age
The player must be at least 16 years old and below 35 years old by the date of the first game.
1.2 Registration Requirement
Every participating player must be properly registered with a participating team of maximum 5 players. Participants must not participate in any other professional leagues previously. Only Open to 32 Teams!! Hence react fast to avoid disappointments...
2. Tournament Dynamics
The tournament is made by the single elimination method.
2.1 Group Division Phase
This stage consists of teams, previously drawn, playing best-of-one matches.
At the end of all matches, the winning teams will advance to the "Victory" key group, while the others will be eliminated.
2.2 "Victorious" Group
The teams classified in this group continue to advance in the online disputes until the team that will go to the Semi Final.
2.3 Face-to-Face Phase
In semifinals, the four group will be playing best-of-one matches. Before finals, a match will be carried out in loser team to decide the 2nd runner-up of the tournament. Finals will be a best-of-three matches (BO3).
3. Team Eligibility
To participate in the Tournament, teams must register through this platform (Tournament) and pay the entry fee, all by the deadline (30/11/19 )11: 30pm).
4. Player Substitution
There is no player substitution allowed in this tournament. Therefore, participants need to make sure all the teammates can join the match when the matches started.
5. Player Equipment
During the online stage, it is the responsibility of each team and / or player to ensure the quality of their internet connection and the performance of their computer. And during the presential stage, the use of equipment in the categories below:
• Keyboard;
• Mouse and mousepad;
• Headsets and / or headphones and microphones.
If the player does not have the equipment listed for the face-to-face stage, the equipment can be loan to the teams.
5.1 Use of Computer Programs
Players are prohibited from using any programs on computers that may provide any assistance during a match. Identification of such software may result in team disqualification.
6. Departure Area
The "Match Area" is made up of all the area around the computers used for competition during matches. During face-to-face matches, the presence of team members in the Area is restricted only to the holders of the teams that are playing.
6.1 Devices That Allow Communication
Devices that allow communication, including (but not limited to) mobile phones and tablets, must be switched off throughout the match, including picks / bans, pauses, remakes, etc. Tournament officials may, at their discretion, prevent such equipment from entering the playing area, or collect and return it to players after face-to-face matches.
7. Tournament Schedule
7.1 Online Phase Length
The online phase will take place after the deadline of registration. All match date and time will be informed by the authorized personnel.
8. Match Process
8.1 Schedule Changes
The tournament organization may, at its discretion, reorder the match schedule of any day or change the date of a match or change the match schedule. If any match schedule is modified, the organization will inform teams of the change as soon as possible.
8.2 Departure Times
All teams must have checked in with the responsible official at least 1hour in advance of the scheduled departure time. Also valid for the teams that will open the presential event.
All matches will take place at the appropriate times, and if a team is not present or incomplete, exceeding 10min tolerance, it may be considered Withdraw, and additional punishments may apply to the team.
8.3 Beginning of Pick / Ban Process
The Tournament Official will be responsible for creating the match and will instruct the 10 players to enter the lobby in the following order: Top, Jungle, Mid, ADC and Support. After both teams confirm that they are ready, a Tournament Official will give OK to the teams to start the match.
8.4 General / Game Settings

8.5 Game Interruptions
Players are not allowed to pause matches for the Online Matches.
Players can pause matches within Semifinal and Grand finale. Do inform a Tournament Official of the reason for the break. before the action. Within the same match, only one break per team is allowed.
9. Conduct of Players
Any action, omission or behavior that, in the sole discretion of tournament officials, violates these established rules or integrity standards may result in penalties.
10. Rules Change
These rules may be amended, modified or supplemented by the organization of the event to ensure fair matches and the competitive integrity of the tournament.
