Route condition (elevation): +299 m (cumulative elevation gain), 230 m (maximum elevation), 43 m (minimum elevation)

Terms & Conditions for Ultimate Penang Runner Challenge 

1. Race Pack & Running Bibs Collection

· Participant will need to bring along a Photo ID and a printed copy or present a soft copy via mobile of confirmation slip for the collection of race pack & running bib. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse participants without the required documents from collecting their Race Pack.

· For Participants who are unable to collect race pack & running bib in person, you may authorize someone to collect it for you. Your representative will need to produce a copy of runner’s identification card and confirmation slip for verification purposes. Your representative’s particular will be noted down for record purposes too.

· There will be NO race pack & bib collection held on the event day itself. Un claimed race pack shall be donated.

· The organizer will try to fulfil the tee shirt size chosen by participants as according to registration entry. However, it is not a guarantee that participants will be provided the correct sizes should there be any discrepancy occurs, and this is out of organizer’s control. Tee shirt size exchange is NOT ALLOW on collection day.

· Wearing the official running bib during the event is compulsory, while wearing event official tee shirts is strongly encouraged.

· Running bib must be visible at all time. DO NOT modify, cut, fold or write anything on the provided running bib.

· Exchange bib number is strictly NOT ALLOW. Participants who found exchange bib numbers will be disqualify immediately.

· Love the earth! We are strongly encouraged participants to bring along own recycle bag during the race pack collection.

2. Refund

· No refund will be entertained once full payment is received.

· Confirmed registrations are not transferable to another person.

· Registered participants are NOT ALLOW to change category once registrations are confirmed.

3. Starting and Finishing Point

· Participants are required to follow the indicated starting and finishing point as according to organizer’s course map.

· Participants must gather at the starting point 10 minutes before the race starts.

· Participants must complete the race by entering the indicated finishing point. Otherwise, will be disqualified.

· Late comers shall not be entertained and disqualify from the race.

· Upon completion, participants are required to present the race bib to redeem race medal.

· Medal are required to redeem on the event day only, fail to collect on the same day will be consider as forfeited.

4. Route

· Please refer to course map online

· Participants must follow the indicated route and are NOT ALLOW to divert or take any short-cuts. Any participants who found disobey the rules will be disqualified.

· For race participants, there will be check points along the route, participants are required to check in all checkpoints.

· There will be time limit for each category. A sweeper vehicle will be pick up participants who are unable to meet the time frame that have been set by the organizer.

· Participants who refuse to pick up by sweeper vehicle will no longer deem to be part of the event. Their safety will not be under the organizer’s responsibility and they are NOT qualifying to redeem medal, certificates and entitle for lucky draws.

5. Time Limit

· 12 KM – within 2 hours 30 minutes

·  5 KM – within 1 hour 30 minutes

6. Withdrawal

· Participants who wish to withdraw from the race during the event is required to notify and/or hand in their race bib to the authorized crew/organizer along the route.

7. Medical Advice

· All participants are advised to undergo a medical check-up prior to the event.

· Medical assistance where possible, organizers shall attempt to provide medical teams along the route.

· Participants are required to take care of their own safety during the event.

8. Safety

· Participants will be running on the road and required to obey the instructions of authorized crews and police.

· Unauthorized vehicles are NOT allow to follow or escort the participants.

9. Winner Prizes

· Cash Prizes are in Ringgit Malaysia only. Participants are NOT allow to transfer their race bibs to another person.

· Any participants who found using others’ bib will be disqualified and shall NOT be untitled for any prizes.

· Winner prizes are required to redeem on the event day ONLY, if fail to redeem prizes, the prizes shall be forfeited.

10. Others

· Organizer reserves the right to amend and/or make any changes to the event rules, terms and conditions, race route and/or other arrangements as they deem appropriate, to cancel, to postpone or reschedule the event date for the safety of participants and/or to prevent any potential hazards during the race, at any time without prior notice to the participants. In such cases, every effort will be made to inform the participants prior to the date of event. The organizer shall NOT be held liable for any loss or inconveniences caused due to such changes.

· Cheating is absolutely abhorred. These will be duly disqualified.

· Organizer is allow to post event photograph and video on social media without participants’ consent.

· Registration is consider successful only after payment received by the organizer.

· Incomplete and/or incorrect entries will be rejected.

· Infant or children below 16 years old will be given free admission (without any entitlement). Whilst reasonable precaution will be taken to ensure the Participants’ safety, the Participant takes part in I Love Malaysia Run at own risk. Organizer and/or the relevant business partners shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death howsoever arising in connection with the I Love Malaysia Run event. 

· All participants must be 16 years old and above. Participants who are below 16 years old are required to have parent or guardian's approval.

I hereby agree not to hold the organizer and co-organizers, their representatives and sponsors against any cost, expense or liability that may arise in consequence of my participation in the event, I agree to waive all claims for any and all injuries, death and invalidity to me or the person under my care which may be caused by any act, or failure to act by the organizer, members and employees arising directly or indirectly during the course of event or arising as a result of it. I confirm that I have read and accepted the conditions of entry to the event and all rules and regulations for this event.
