Official Announcement regarding cancellation of Yak Chee Family Fun Run 2020


We are all facing an unprecedented situation with the global pandemic of Covid-19. Ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our runners, sponsors, charitable bodies and crew staff is our top priority. After deep thinking and careful consideration, the Organizing Committee has decided to cancel Yak Chee Family Fun Run 2020.

We know this is disappointing news for all runners, especially our Yak Chee students.  Please bear with us as no refund will be processed, we have proceeded for the race kit printing before MCO and it is all ready for collection.


Participants can collect the race kit by showing the QR code in E-receipt on:-

Date: 17th to 20th/Sept/2020

Time: 8.30am - 12.30pm

Venue: Yak Chee Conference Room


We apologies for the inconveniences caused and we are grateful for understanding and support from all the participants. Please stay healthy, wash your hands frequently, avoid touching your face and practice a safe distance from people showing symptoms.

鉴于T-shirt 和奖牌的打印工作在管制令之前已完成，故恕不退款。

  1. The Organizer reserves the right to close entries before the deadline without any notice once the race quota is full.
  2. Entry forms will only be processed upon receipt of full payment of entry fee.
  3. For safety reasons, the participants age must be 4 years old and above.
  4. Distance may vary, subject to unforeseen circumstances of traffic condition and authorities advice for the safety of runners, and/or to prevent any potential hazards, without prior notice.
  5. Medal, running tee and goodies bag design is subject to change without prior notice.
  6. The Organizer reserves the right to contact and to interview applicants by phone or otherwise for additional information required for matters relating to their applications.
  7. Entry fees are non-refundable. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse entries if any applicants provide false information, do not make the required payment, or fail to meet entry requirements as stated in the entry form.
  8. The Participant must show the QR Code in E-receipt upon Race Kit Collections for verification. Failure to do so will result in disqualification without refund.
  9. Race kit collection date to be advised by the organizer.
  10. Should the event be cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of the Organizer (including heavy rain, thunder storm or disaster, public rally), no refund of the entry fee will be made and the Organizer shall have no further responsibility and/or liability thereafter.
  11. Running is not a ‘free risk’ sport and therefore each runner must ensure his/her health condition is fit before participating and during the race. Each runner shall be responsible with his/her own health/condition. The Organizer shall not be responsible for personal injury or death during or after the race due to gross negligence of the Organizer.
  12. The Organizer reserves the right to disallow/ disqualify any person who is known or suspected to be physically unfit to participate in the event. 
  13. The organizer and its agents will not be held responsible for any issues relating to parking at the venue.  Participants are advised to follow the instructions given by traffic personnel for proper parking.  The organizer and its agent will not be held responsible due to losses suffered in the event of break ins or vandalism to the vehicles of participants.  Proper vigilance must be exercised by all participants when parking their vehicles.
  14. The Organiser reserves the right to vary any of the Terms and Conditions of the Event from time to time as they deem fit.

PIBG stands for ‘Persatuan Ibu Bapa dan Guru’. It is a school-based organization with a mission to make the school a better place for children to learn. Parents of students work together with teachers to volunteer in classes, raise money for school supplies, and generally support the school's efforts.
