Due to COVID-19, the exhibition will follow the designated SOP by having sessional art tours based on time slots. Each time slot has 30 seats and lasts for 1 hour. Each person is limited to 2 tickets per booking within a time slot. You can choose a time slot between 12 pm - 4 pm on 28 December 2021 and 10 am - 7 pm on 29 December 2021. The tour is fully curated and guided by our professional team.
Michelle Yap is a Malaysian abstract artist from Kuala Lumpur, who graduated from the University of Arts, London (Central St. Martins, College of Arts) after years of striving to pursue arts has allowed her to create a unique union between her passion and abstract exposition.
From a small passion for large-scale art, Michelle has made herself an esteemed artist characterized by her bold strokes and experimental style and technique. Hinted of oriental Chinese calligraphy painting, Michelle Yap combines the character of traditional Chinese ink and the textural qualities of modern acrylic, painted in her stylized heavy brush strokes. Her passion for fine art has allowed for her bold artistic expression which embodies her personal values that have served as inspiration, piece-after-piece.
Her works have also been proudly featured on Saatchi Art (USA), Singulart (France), Fiidaa Art (Singapore). Invited by the prestigious Global Art Agency – MACA DMCC, she was able to participate in Tokyo International Art Fair and Shanghai International Art Fair and was curated by Christie’s and Sotheby’s. Her works were exhibited alongside big names like Jeff Koons in Shanghai. With past online gallery representations in the USA and France, her art has been well-received by collectors and non-collectors alike, as it evolved over the course of 6 years in the European and American market.
