Concert attendees are eligible for a 25% discount in all the hotel's F&B outlets after the concert, and a special room rate of RM 400 nett for a studio suite in Victory Annexe wing and RM 550+ in a Deluxe Suite in Heritage wing, both inclusive of breakfast for two (stay must include the night of Sunday 20th March).
The Penang Persistent Pandemic Players are a group of dedicated musicians who have managed to perform chamber music concerts at the E&O and elsewhere during the pandemic while it has been impossible for full orchestras to play.

Baritone Mak Chi Hoe is Artistic Director at Young Choral Academy, Artistic Director & Conductor of the Penang Philharmonic Chorus, and Resident Chorus Master of Kuala Lumpur City Opera.
Soprano Joyce Khoo is a prize winning opera singer, a vocal coach, choir conductor, and runs the Pizzicanto Music Academy.
Soprano Ong Chiew Khim has more than 20 years of experience as a choir coach and conductor in Penang, and has performed many famous opera roles.
