Zhang Chi graduated in Masters of Music from Monash University (Australia) under the tutelage of Darryl Coote. He was engaged in many piano recitals, concertos and broadcasting. Zhang Chi has also been invited as adjudicator for several competitions, his playing is also recorded on Steinway Spirio piano in New York. Zhang Chi has toured many countries for music occasions, he visited music conservatoires in France, Italy and Austria. He performed in piano recitals and often gave masterclasses in Malaysia, China, Singapore, Thailand and Australia. Zhang Chi currently resides in Penang (Malaysia), his students have won numerous international and national prizes in piano competitions. Zhang Chi is also a Steinway Artist.
Esther Shin Chuang, an award-winning pianist, has given concerts on four continents: North America, Asia, Africa, and Europe. She performed in numerous prestigious venues around the world including St. Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh, Scotland, Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall in New York, U.S., and in the Chicago Cultural Center, U.S. She is a winner of many international competitions. Dr. Esther Shin Chuang studied as a scholarship student in the Pre-College Division of the Juilliard School in New York, U.S. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree at the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, U.S. She earned her Master of Music degree at the Manhattan School of Music in New York, U.S. She earned her Doctorate of Worship Studies at Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies in Jacksonville, U.S. Dr. Chuang has been on the faculty of music at Moody Bible Institute, a University in Chicago, IL, U.S., for six years prior to her recent relocation to Penang, Malaysia.
