Oktoberfest is a “Volksfest”, a people’s festival, which draws people from far and wide, so don’t expect a quiet and lonely evening. Buy your tickets in advance (in September: RM 25/in October: RM30) as it’s more expensive on the door. This year, we will be entertained by “Frankenräuber” from Bavaria.

• Venue: Malaysian-German Society, Penang

Please decide on which day you want to visit our festival, as you need to buy a ticket for either Friday or Saturday. Your ticket will not be valid on the other day.

 Pre-Sale will close early if tickets are sold out but in any case by Wednesday, 19 October.

• MGS Members please contact MGS for members' rate.
• Group ticket booking for 20 tickets and above, please call MGS office.
• Children 15 years and below enter for free. 
• From 16 years old onwards they need a ticket and will also be entered in the lucky draw.

• Admission subject to security / bag check at entry point.
• Ticket holders must present their tickets upon entry for verification. You can either print your ticket or present the digital version.
• Face mask is mandatory upon entry and indoors.
• Alcohol Consumption Age - Attendees will need to be at least 21 years old on the date of the event and may be asked for photo IC / ID as proof of age.
• Visitors of the Oktoberfest participate on their own risk. The MGS is not responsible for any mishaps / injuries. 
• This ticket serves as a Temporary Membership of the MGS for the month of October 2022
• We reserve the right to make alterations to the advertised details for the event at short notice. 
• No refund on tickets or exchange for another day will be made under any circumstances.
• If the event is postponed due to Covid restrictions, bookings will be valid for the subsequent date.
