World Oral Health Day (WOHD) 2023 Virtual Run/ Walk is organized by Kelab Kebajikan dan Sukan Kakitangan Pejabat Kesihatan Pergigian Daerah Hulu Langat (Dent-Us) (“Organiser”) and endorsed by Bahagian Kesihatan Pergigian, Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Selangor.
The virtual run/ walk is open to all regardless of gender and age.
The purpose of this virtual run/ walk is to raise awareness among the Malaysian public on the importance of good oral health and to promote good oral health habits. The theme for WOHD 2023 is Be Proud of Your Mouth.
This is a cumulative run/ walk where participants can either run/ walk the total 5 km within a day, or run/ walk a few km a day to accumulate a total of 5 km, within the event period (13 March 2023- 19 March 2023). No evidence of completion will be required for entitlements (medal & e-cert)
All participants are to ensure that all information submitted for the purpose of registration is complete and accurate.
Your participation is only CONFIRMED when payment of the registration fees is successfully made to Ticket2U.com.my.
By confirmation of payment, the participants agree to abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Organiser.
All entries are NOT TRANSFERABLE, REFUNDABLE OR DEFERRABLE.
Upon confirmation of participation, no changes will be entertained.
The Organiser reserves the right to limit, accept or reject any entries without prior notice and reasons.
The Organiser reserves the right to close entries before deadline without any notice or when the quota of the run/ walk is full.
Participants are encouraged to post photos on their Instagram or Facebook accounts along with the following hashtags: #WOHDPKPDHL, #WOHD2023, #beproudofyourmouth. Tag us to tell us about your virtual run experience.
The Organiser reserves the right to share any post by participants on the organiser’s official Facebook page, Pergigian Daerah Hulu Langat.
Entitlement (medal) will be shipped to participants within 4 weeks after the campaign has ended via courier by the Organiser.
Entitlement (e-cert) will be e-mailed to participants within 4 weeks after the campaign has ended to the e-mail address provided by the participant during registration.
In the event that the total medal order is less than the pre-determined minimum, the Organiser may not proceed with printing of medals and hence will refund the medal cost to the participants.
Entitlements will be shipped directly to the registered mailing address provided by the participant during registration. Please provide an accurate mailing address. Any additional cost incurred due to the return of parcel from the courier company or failure to deliver are to be borne by the participant.
In the case where participants would like to make an address change once registration has been confirmed, additional charges will be incurred.
Any notice sent to the e-mail address registered with the Organiser shall be deemed as received by the participant.
If the participant provides any information that is untrue, inaccurate, outdated or incomplete, or if the Organiser has grounds to believe that such information is untrue, inaccurate, outdated or incomplete, the Organiser may at any time suspend, revoke, cancel or terminate the participant’s registration for the event or entitlement and fees will not be refunded.
The Organiser will not entertain nor be in any way responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete or inaccurate entry details in the registration form.
The registered parties affirm that they have read, understood and fully agreed to the terms and waiver, and they will give up substantial rights, including the rights to sue and to release all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
