SEGi University and Colleges and SEGi AMBASSADORS are collaborating in making the Youth Esports Challenge 2023 happening!!! 

If you are aged 17 - 35 then Come Join Us and Win Big!!

RULES AND REGULATIONS


1. Acceptance

1.1 Each participated teams MUST agree to all the rules and regulations to participate in this tournament.

1.2 Participants MUST read all the rules and regulations before registering this tournament.

1.3 Participants are considered as accept to all the rules and regulations by registering as participants of this tournament.


2. Competition System

2.1 The entire tournament is carried out as elimination type of matches.

2.2 Every single participated teams are in a group of 4 members of participants.

2.3 Each preliminary match can only participate with a maximum of 25 teams which is 100 participants.

2.4 There will only be two separate single preliminary matches, where participants can only choose to participate in one of the preliminary matches.

2.5Both preliminary matches will be carried out on [15th April 2023] (Saturday). It will do by online session.

2.6Final match will be carried out on [30th April 2023] (Sunday). This match will be done at Paradigm Mall physically.

2.7 Scoring System

2.7.1 The last five eliminated teams from both preliminary matches have the eligibility to entry the final match with Scoring in three games.

2.7.2 The three teams of the highest score in the final match are entitled to get Champion place, First Runner Up place and Second Runner place respectively.

2.7.3 Only the final match will be projected to the large screen.

2.7.4 Scoring system will be use in preliminary match and final match.

2.7.5 Scoring for the final match will be based on each Team’s final kill count and in-game placement.

3. Game Rules

3.1 Participants are required to reach the competition venue on time.

3.2 If one of the participants could not reach the competition on time, the whole team will be disqualified, although the rest of the team members have arrived the competition venue on time.

3.3 Participants are given 15 minutes for preparation before the competition begin.

3.4 Team consists of four (4) players. Teams can additionally list one (1) substitute. A team can participate in the game with at least three (3) players per team, less than three (3) players will be disqualified.

3.5 Participants are allowed to use own mobile phones, earphones, fan cooler for mobile phone and power bank only to participate this tournament.

3.6 Participants are not allowed to use additional gaming equipment, such as joysticks, controllers and other equipment.

3.7 Participants are not allowed to use emulator to play on computer or other devices.

3.8 Once the competition begin, participants are not allowed to pause the game or leave the tournament area.

3.9 Preliminary will be using Erangel map (8km x 8km). Final match will be using Vikendi map (6km x 6km), Sanhok map (4km x 4km) and Livik map (2km x 2km).

4.3 Perspective: Third Person Perspective (TPP)

5. Eligibility of Participation

5.1 Age: Participants must be 17-year-old and above, 35-year-old and below by the date of first game.

5.2 Team: Every participated teams are only allowed a group of 4 members as maximum, substitution player is allowed to participate in this tournament.

5.3 Roster: Name of team and name of participants could not consist of rude words.


6. Entry Qualification

6.1 Participants must fill up the details and pay the registration deposit. Each participated teams are required to RM50 as refundable deposit. (The RM50 refundable deposit is collected to ensure the participants will join all the tournament matches and obey all the tournaments rules and regulations)

6.2 Each participated teams are required to emailed the receipts to following email address, [email protected].

6.3 Once all the entry conditions are fulfilled, then the registrations are completed. For every member of the teams MUST fulfil the entry conditions to enter the tournament.

6.4 The RM50 refundable deposit will be refunded to the team leaders accordingly after two to four weeks after the tournament end. (This is due to Ticket2U takes time to process for the refund)
