Malaysian pianist Mei Lin Hii returns to RexKL with a new show “Greatest Hits”. The entire evening is dedicated to the most famous and popular piano pieces of all times, from Beethoven to Ryuichi Sakamoto, Chopin to Rachmaninoff, Debussy to Piazzolla, and many more. Come and listen to live interpretation of Für Elise, Gymnopédie, Rhapsody In Blue and Flight of the Bumblebee in the iconic Rex cinema theater with spectacular lighting design. Named ‘Outstanding Woman Pianist’ in 1996 after receiving the Rubinstein Award in New York,  Sarawak-born Malaysian pianist Mei Lin Hii is praised for her “enigmatic expressivity through an  elegant yet passionate temperament; clarity of style and rhythmic precision” in her playing by music  critics. She has performed in the U.S.A., Europe, Switzerland, the French Caribbeans, South East Asia and Australia. \


In chamber music, Mei Lin has coached with renowned chamber musicians such as Isidore Cohen  of the Juilliard String Quartet and the Beaux Arts Trio; Daniel Avshalamov of the American String  Quartet; Elizabeth Matesky, protégé of Jascha Heifitz, to name a few. She even played in a Off-Broadway production called Les Trois Folles by Guy de Maupassant.

  • The ticket holder agrees to allow any search for any prohibited items, including but not limited to weapons, controlled substances, recording devices /electronics, large cameras, skateboards or roller-blades, umbrellas and fireworks.
  • Organizers will not be held responsible for damage or loss of items confiscated during entry.
  • Smoking is prohibited within the venue with the exception of designated smoking areas. 
    • Open packs of cigarettes will be confiscated at the entrance.
  • Strictly no outside food and drinks allowed. 
    • Food is not allowed in the venue.
    • Drinks allowed in the venue are those that are bought from the event bars in the venue.
    • No personal water bottles or food containers allowed.
  • The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and dangers that may occur during or after the event, including but not limited to any death, personal injury, loss, damage or liability.
  • The Organizers reserve the right to eject anyone from the venue should they be found breaking any of the terms and conditions listed above, with no obligation for refunds to be made.
