WCKD

Meet WCKD, the chameleon of the DJ world, who effortlessly navigates a sonic landscape encompassing Techno, Industrial Techno, Psytrance, House, and beyond. His performances are a testament to his contagious enthusiasm, building up the energy of the crowd with a meticulously crafted progression of beats and rhythms, resulting in an irresistible blend of foot-stomping and head-bopping euphoria. As an ever-evolving DJ, WCKD draws inspiration from his circle of friends, and his creative pursuits extend to the world of video filming and editing.

Raven

Raven was first introduced to EDM many years ago, which eventually inspired her to take up DJing.

Exhibiting exceptional talent since the start of her career, she is one of the up-and-coming DJs to look out for. Upon wider exposure to EDM, her interest extended to various sub- and underground genres like melodic and hard techno, trap, and DnB, which she hopes to bring to light wherever she spins, promising good vibes throughout.

Hazel

Hazel is a local DJ under the renowned record label, Banhuat. Known for her exhilarating sets and infectious energy. With a passion for dubstep, future bass, techno, and DnB, Hazel delivers electrifying performances that leave audiences in awe. She effortlessly blends genres and curates a diverse musical journey for her crowd. Hazel's commanding stage presence and ability to create an engaging atmosphere have earned her a reputation for delivering hype-filled sets that keep the crowd moving. As a Malaysian DJ, Hazel continues to make her mark on the electronic music scene, captivating audiences with her skillful mixing, deep understanding of music, and unwavering enthusiasm.

Suhsi

Suhsi is the esteemed founder and designer behind STW ( @stw.stw.stw), an artisanal jewelry brand infused with a captivating dark aesthetic, dedicated to delving into the concept of contrasting appearances and underlying realities.

Suhsi also exhibits her talent as a DJ specializing in the enthralling genres of psytrance and techno music. Her profound passion for music serves as a conduit for expressing her profound spiritual connection with the universe. Beyond its influence on her work behind the deck, music profoundly impacts Sushi's creative process in jewelry design, imbuing her creations with extraordinary depth and innovative energy.

Azarikh (VJ)

Azarikh is a motion graphics artist currently working in Kuala Lumpur. He specializes in 2D and 3D animation works. His body of work and source of inspiration touches on sci-fi, surreal landscape, retro-futuristic, and art genres alike.

Seeing how an object in motion interacts in perfect synchronicity with sound gives him the ultimate satisfaction. He is an avid admirer and enthusiast of animated graphics, and regularly experiments with what inspired him by reinterpreting/retelling his visual stimuli in a new light. The act of actualizing animated objects with different angles and perspectives enables Azarikh to create new meanings in his works that give these animated objects a new breath of uniqueness.

REXFEST

Marking its 5th anniversary since its transformative relaunch as downtown Kuala Lumpur's cultural and creative hub, REXKL proudly introduces the first-ever REXFEST, a vibrant festival celebrating the city's rich history, arts, and community spirit. Hosted in collaboration with Connor’s Stout Porter, REXFEST is set to take place from 24 Nov to 26 Nov 2023. Ticketed events go on sale at xx on xx.

Known for delivering top-notch contemporary and creative experiences, Connor’s will add its signature cool and crafty vibes to REXFEST.  Offering its four premium malts and perfectly balanced taste, Connor’s brings the finest of both stout and music together all within the confines of one spectacular event as art and music lovers ‘Taste the Good Times’ over the three-day fest.

From art exhibitions and live performances to interactive workshops and community activations, REXFEST promises something for everyone. The festival will transform REXKL into a hub of artistic expression, with each day offering a curated selection of events and activities. Attendees can expect to be captivated by performances from renowned musicians, the mind-bending creativity of digital artists, and the infectious beats of DJs.

• Alcoholic beverages will only be sold to non-Muslims and patrons above 21 years old.

• The ticket holder agrees to allow any search for any prohibited items, including but not limited to weapons, controlled substances, recording devices /electronics, large cameras, skateboards or roller-blades, umbrellas, and fireworks.
• Organizers will not be held responsible for damage or loss of items confiscated during entry.
• Smoking is prohibited within the venue. 
  • Open packs of cigarettes will be confiscated at the entrance.
  • Smoking areas are located outside the venue.
• Strictly no outside food and drinks allowed. 
  • No food is allowed in.
  • Only drinks purchased at the event bar are allowed.
  • No personal water bottles or food containers are allowed.
• The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and dangers that may occur during or after the event, including but not limited to any death, personal injury, loss, damage, or liability.
• The Organizers reserve the right to eject anyone from the venue should they be found breaking any of the terms and conditions listed above, with no obligation for refunds to be made.
