With the increasing rate of Malaysian youths opting to not pursue their tertiary education, students from Faculty of Applied Communication (FAC) from Multimedia University (MMU) in partnership with Yayasan Universiti Multimedia (YUM) is organising our annual charity fun run with this year's theme focusing on raising awareness and funds to support them pursuing their tertiary education. Terms & Conditions 

By enrolling in this event, I acknowledge that my participation entails a charitable contribution, and upon the transfer of the registration fees, I willingly relinquish any entitlement to refunds or reimbursements from the event organisers. It is understood that the entirety of the registration proceeds shall be allocated to the designated beneficiary, YUM, for the explicit purpose of charitable endeavors.

1. By registering and participating in the Quack-A-Splash water fun run, I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the event and accept the terms and conditions stated herein.

2. By participating, I acknowledge and accept the risks associated with the event. I release and indemnify the organisers, sponsors, and any other parties involved in the event from any claims that may arise.

3. I understand that the organisers shall not be liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the event and that I as a participant is wholly responsible for my well-being during the event.

4. I understand that all items in the race kit are non-transferable, non-returnable and non-exchangeable upon collection. The organisers reserves the right to change the contents of the race kit without prior notice to the participants.

5. I acknowledge that the organisers reserve the right to cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances. In such a case, I will be notified as soon as possible.

6. I understand that for participants under 18 years of age, I must bring a guardian to register as a participant for safety purposes.

7. During the registration procedure, I understand that I must complete the registration and provide accurate and legitimate information to the organisers.

8. By participating in the event, I grant the organisers permission to use any photos or videos taken during the event for promotional purposes. 

9. I agree to allow the organisers to use any personal information that I have provided for promotional, advertising or reporting purposes in any media. 

10. I agree to grant the organisers the right to use my name, image, and performance for promotional, advertising or reporting purposes in any media.

11. I understand that for my own safety, I am required to wear appropriate attire at all times during the event. 

12. I alone am responsible for my personal belongings. Event organisers are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to any participant’s personal property.

13. I am aware that the organisers will not be held responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the event. My participation is at my own risk.

14. I understand that the use of illegal substances and performance enhancing is strictly prohibited.

15. I understand that the organisers retain the right to exclude participants who violate the terms and conditions.

Rules & Regulations

1. For your safety, participants must wear appropriate attire at all times during the event.

2. You should be in good health and free from any condition that could be aggravated by this activity. If you need more clarification, please consult with a healthcare professional.

3. Participants should seek medical treatment if they have any health difficulties during the event.

4. Participants must behave sportsmanlike, demonstrating respect for their fellow participants, volunteers, and event administrators.

5. Participants must follow the designated course and stay within marked lanes to ensure the safety of all participants.

6. We expect all participants to behave in a manner that is respectful and considerate of others. Please note that any form of harassment or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

7. Please take note that the bib numbers are non-transferable and must be visible at all times throughout the event.

8. Hydration/Water stations will be available along the route. Participants are encouraged to stay hydrated.

9. Participants must respect the environment and adhere to trash disposal guidelines.

10. Participants must obey any directions and/or instructions given on the day of the event by the organisers. Failure to comply may result in the participant being disqualified from the event.
