Welcome to the Bald & Beautiful Run 2024 event page!

The Bald and Beautiful event has been organized since 2012, and we have successfully held it four times in the last 12 years. This year, for the Bald and Beautiful 5.0 event, we would like to go the extra mile. In line with that, we are excited to announce that we will be hosting the 1st Bald & Beautiful fun run this year. We aim to encourage more enthusiastic individuals to join this fun run/walk for cancer awareness, promote a healthy lifestyle, and support the fight against cancer.

The run symbolizes hope for empower cancer research and finding cures for cancer through research. Bald & Beautiful Run welcomes everyone, regardless of age, athletic ability, or socio-economic standing. This non-competitive, family-oriented event allows participants to run, jog, walk, skate, or even ride on someone’s shoulders; the real race is against cancer.

Terms & Conditions

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN THE EVENT AS THEY CONTAIN BINDING LEGAL TERMS AND OBLIGATIONS INCLUDING LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF OUR LIABILITY. BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS EVENT, YOU ARE DEEMED TO HAVE FULLY READ, UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS GOVERNING THIS EVENT.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ANY OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, YOU MUST NOT PROCEED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENT.

Terms and Conditions:

1. My Starfish Foundation (collectively referred to as “Organiser”) reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Bald and Beautiful Charity Run (“Event”) at any time without prior notice to participants (“Participants”), in which case the Organiser will make reasonable effort to inform the Participants prior to the date of the Event.
2. The Organiser reserves the right to modify or substitute any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time as it deems fit. If there is ambiguity in any of the provisions, the Organiser shall be the authority to interpret and in doing so, the Organiser will take into account the interests of all the affected Participants. Any updates on the Terms and Conditions will be notified on the official Event’s website [https://www.ticket2u.com.my/event/35882], and it is the responsibility of all Participants to keep abreast with any changes. Participants are encouraged to visit [https://www.ticket2u.com.my/event/35882] at regular intervals.
3. Completion of the official online registration, confirms the Participant’s agreement to abide by all the Terms and Conditions for the Event.
4. Registration for the Event is only confirmed upon successful payment made and issuance of a confirmed collection slip via email.
5. The Participants shall complete the online registration and submit it together with payment of the Registration Fee for: Adult and Children (with age of 6 years old & above) : at RM50.00 per pax will be imposed In the event the Organiser deems fit to cancel and/or postpone the Event, there shall be no refund for the registration payments made, unless the Organiser decides otherwise. The Organiser shall not be held responsible for any losses and/or inconvenience caused by such cancellation and/or postponement.
6. The Organiser will not be held liable for any additional interest or fees charged by the Participants’ bank or credit card transaction fee(s) during registration.
7. The Organiser reserves the right to use any photographs (including those of Participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the Event, for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising and distribution to sponsors anywhere in the world without any notification and/or payment to the Participants.
8. All costs, fees, and/or related expenses incurred or to be incurred in relation to the Event and/or collection and/or usage of the prizes, which shall include but not limited to the costs of transportation, accommodation, email, postage/courier and/or any other costs, shall be borne separately by the Participants.
9. All intellectual property rights in all materials produced or distributed by the Organizer in connection with the Event are expressly reserved and any unauthorized duplication, publication and/or distribution are strictly prohibited.
10. By participating in this Event, the Participants acknowledge and agree that the Organiser excludes all warranty and/or liability in connection with the awarded prizes and/or the Event. Participants shall assume full liability and responsibility in case of any liability, mishap, injury, loss, damage, claim or accident (including personal injury and/or death) resulting from their participation in the Event, redemption and/or usage of the prizes. The Organiser shall not be held responsible for any liability, mishap, loss, damage, claim or accident (including personal injury and/or death) in any manner whatsoever suffered by the Participants as a result of their participation in the Event and/or the use of the prizes.
11. Participants confirm that they have no health issues or have consulted a proper medical professional prior to registering his/her participation in this Event. Participants are strongly encouraged to go for a medical examination and/or consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual Event day.
12. While every reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organiser to ensure the participants' safety, participants walk solely at their own risk and the Organiser will not be responsible or held liable for any injury or death howsoever arising from during, or after participation in the Event.
13. The Organiser will not be responsible for any loss and/or damage, personal or otherwise, to the belongings and items deposited at the Event venue.
14. The Organiser may use services of third parties in organizing the Event.
15. There will be no compensation if the Event is cancelled for reasons of force majeure, i.e., due to occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the Organiser, including but not limited to haze, storm, rain, inclement weather, wind, act of God, terrorism or other conditions, and which in the Organiser's opinion, renders it impossible or unsafe to hold the Event.
16. The Organiser’s decisions are final and there shall be no appeal entertained and/or allowed. Participants shall not resort to court proceedings to review the Organiser’s decisions.

Registration:

1. Participants must register and make payment online via [https://www.ticket2u.com.my/event/35882] in order to participate in the Event and to receive the Event's Run Kit Pack.
2. Participants must be 18 and above to register.
3. Adult and Children (with age of 6 years old & above) : at RM50.00 per pax will be imposed.
4. Children who age 5 years old and below are FREE. Welcome to join ! No registration needed. (No medal, goodies bag and t shirt for the age 5 years and below)
5. Participant agrees to provide true, accurate, current and complete information during registration. The Organiser has the discretion to suspend or terminate any registration if it is found or there are grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete.
6. The Organizer will not entertain nor be in any way responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete or inaccurate entry details in the online registration form.
7. Upon successful registration, the Participant will be sent a Confirmation Slip to the email provided during Registration. If there is discrepancy in the confirmation, Participant is to report such discrepancy to the Organizer within Three [3] working days.
8. The Confirmation Slip is the only valid proof of confirmed registration. Participant is requested to provide the Confirmation Slip and a valid MyKad/Passport to collect the Run Kit Pack.
9. The completion and submission of the online registration form confirms the Participant's agreement to abide by the relevant terms and conditions of the Organizer and of the Event.
10. The Organizer may contact the Participant from time to time via email or phone. Any notice sent to the email address registered with the Organizer shall be deemed as received by the Participant.

Liability & Responsibility:

1. Participants must follow the respective Run Route and direction of the Event marshals, security and traffic officers.
2. Pets, bicycles, in-line skates, prams, push carts, shoes with built-in or attached rollers and any other wheel-run objects are not allowed on the Event and Run course.
3. The Organizer reserves the right to amend the Run Route as they deem fit for the safety of the Participants and/or to prevent any potential hazards.
4. A Participant must retire from the Event immediately, if required to do so by the Organizer, officer of the Event, any member of the Event’s official medical staff or security officer.

Collection of Items:

1. Participants are requested to collect their T-Shirts from EcoWorld Gallery @ Eco Ardence, PT 8, Persiaran Setia Alam, Setia Alam, 40170 Shah Alam, Selangor from 10am to 5pm on 2nd August (Friday) & 3rd August 2024 (Saturday), and 4th August 2024 (Sunday) before 6.45am. 
2. Participants are requested to redeem their Medal and Goodie Bag after completion of the Run.
3. No medal, goodies bag and tshirt for the age 5 years and below
4. All Goodies Bag to be redeemed on the Event day itself. No requests before or thereafter will be entertained.
5. The Organizer reserves the right to substitute any of the Goodie Bag item(s) at any time without prior notice.

Terma dan syarat:

1. My Starfish Foundation (secara kolektif dirujuk sebagai “Penganjur”) berhak untuk membatalkan atau menangguhkan Bald and Beautiful Charity Run (“Acara”) pada bila-bila masa tanpa notis awal kepada peserta (“Peserta”), dalam hal ini Penganjur akan  membuat usaha yang munasabah untuk memaklumkan Peserta sebelum tarikh Acara.
2. Penganjur berhak untuk mengubah suai atau menggantikan mana-mana Terma dan Syarat ini dari semasa ke semasa sekiranya perlu. Sekiranya terdapat kekeliruan pada mana-mana peruntukan, Penganjur adalah pihak berkuasa untuk mentafsir dan dengan berbuat demikian, Penganjur akan mengambil kira kepentingan semua Peserta yang terlibat. Sebarang kemas kini mengenai Terma dan Syarat akan dimaklumkan di laman web rasmi Acara [https://www.ticket2u.com.my/event/35882], dan menjadi tanggungjawab semua Peserta untuk mengikuti sebarang perubahan. Peserta digalakkan untuk melawat [https://www.ticket2u.com.my/event/35882] dari masa ke masa.
3. Setelah selesai pendaftaran dalam talian rasmi, ini mengesahkan persetujuan Peserta untuk mematuhi semua Terma dan Syarat untuk Acara.
4. Pendaftaran untuk Acara hanya disahkan apabila pembayaran berjaya dibuat dan pengeluaran slip kutipan yang disahkan melalui e-mel.
5. Peserta hendaklah melengkapkan pendaftaran dalam talian dan menyerahkannya bersama bayaran Yuran Pendaftaran untuk: Dewasa dan Kanak-kanak (berumur 6 tahun ke atas) : RM50.00 setiap orang akan dikenakan. Sekiranya Penganjur menganggap wajar untuk membatalkan dan/atau menangguhkan Acara, dimaklumkan tiada bayaran balik untuk pembayaran pendaftaran yang dibuat, melainkan Penganjur membuat keputusan sebaliknya. Penganjur tidak akan bertanggungjawab ke atas sebarang kerugian dan/atau kesulitan yang disebabkan oleh pembatalan dan/atau penangguhan tersebut.
6. Penganjur tidak akan bertanggungjawab untuk sebarang faedah atau yuran tambahan yang dikenakan oleh bank Peserta atau yuran transaksi kad kredit semasa pendaftaran.
7. Penganjur berhak untuk menggunakan mana-mana gambar (termasuk gambar Peserta), gambar bergerak, rakaman, atau mana-mana rekod media lain Acara, untuk sebarang tujuan yang sah termasuk pengiklanan komersial dan pengedaran kepada penaja di mana-mana sahaja di dunia tanpa sebarang notis atau pemberitahuan dan/atau bayaran kepada Peserta.
8. Penganjur berhak untuk menukar hadiah kepada hadiah lain yang sama nilai pada bila-bila masa tanpa notis terlebih dahulu. Hadiah tidak boleh dipindah milik dan semua hadiah diberikan atas dasar "seadanya" dan tidak boleh ditukar untuk sebarang bentuk lain, iaitu wang tunai, barangan, kredit atau perkhidmatan sebahagian atau sepenuhnya. Gambar hadiah yang ditunjukkan dalam bahan promosi adalah untuk tujuan ilustrasi sahaja. Hadiah sebenar mungkin berbeza daripada gambar yang ditunjukkan.
9. Semua kos, yuran dan/atau perbelanjaan berkaitan yang perlu ditanggung atau akan ditanggung berhubung dengan Acara dan/atau pengumpulan dan/atau penggunaan hadiah,  yang termasuk tetapi tidak terhad kepada kos pengangkutan, penginapan, e-mel, kos pos/kurier dan/atau sebarang kos lain, hendaklah ditanggung secara berasingan oleh Peserta.
10. Semua hak milik harta intelek dalam semua bahan yang dihasilkan atau diedarkan oleh Penganjur berkaitan dengan Acara adalah terpelihara dengan nyata dan sebarang duplikasi, penerbitan dan/atau pengedaran yang tidak dibenarkan adalah dilarang sama sekali.
11. Dengan menyertai Acara ini, Peserta mengakui dan bersetuju bahawa Penganjur mengecualikan semua waranti dan/atau liabiliti berkaitan dengan hadiah yang diberikan dan/atau Acara. Peserta hendaklah memikul liabiliti dan tanggungjawab sepenuhnya sekiranya berlaku sebarang liabiliti, kemalangan, kecederaan, kerugian, kerosakan, tuntutan atau kemalangan (termasuk kecederaan diri dan/atau kematian) akibat daripada penyertaan mereka dalam Acara, penebusan dan/atau penggunaan hadiah. Penganjur tidak akan bertanggungjawab ke atas sebarang liabiliti, kemalangan, kerugian, kerosakan, tuntutan atau kemalangan (termasuk kecederaan diri dan/atau kematian) dalam apa jua cara yang dialami oleh Peserta akibat penyertaan mereka dalam Acara dan/atau penggunaan hadiah.
12. Peserta mengesahkan bahawa mereka tidak mempunyai masalah kesihatan atau telah berunding dengan profesional perubatan yang sah sebelum mendaftarkan penyertaannya dalam Acara ini. Peserta amat digalakkan untuk menjalani pemeriksaan perubatan dan/atau berunding dengan pengamal/ profesional perubatan mereka sebelum pendaftaran dan sebelum hari Acara sebenar.
13. Walaupun setiap langkah berjaga-jaga yang munasabah akan diambil oleh Penganjur untuk memastikan keselamatan peserta, peserta yang mengambil bahagian dalam acara Larian Keluarga semata-mata atas risiko mereka sendiri dan Penganjur tidak akan bertanggungjawab atau dipertanggungjawabkan untuk sebarang kecederaan atau kematian walau apa pun yang berlaku berpunca daripada semasa, atau selepas penyertaan dalam acara.
14. Penganjur tidak akan bertanggungjawab ke atas sebarang kehilangan dan/atau kerosakan, peribadi atau sebaliknya, ke atas barang-barang dan barang-barang yang disimpan di tempat Acara.
15. Penganjur boleh menggunakan perkhidmatan pihak ketiga dalam menganjurkan Acara.
16. Tiada pampasan jika Acara dibatalkan atas sebab ‘force majeure’, iaitu, disebabkan kejadian yang di luar kawalan Penganjur, termasuk tetapi tidak terhad kepada jerebu, ribut, hujan, cuaca buruk, angin, kehendak atau penentuan Tuhan, keganasan atau keadaan lain, dan yang berdasarkan pandangan Penganjur, menjadikannya mustahil atau tidak selamat untuk mengadakan Acara.
17. Keputusan Penganjur adalah muktamad dan tiada rayuan akan dilayan dan/atau dibenarkan. Peserta tidak boleh menggunakan prosiding mahkamah untuk menyemak keputusan Penganjur.

Pendaftaran:

1. Peserta mesti mendaftar dan membuat pembayaran dalam talian melalui [https://www.ticket2u.com.my/event/35882] untuk menyertai Acara dan menerima Pek Kit Acara Larian.
2. Peserta mestilah berumur 18 tahun ke atas untuk mendaftar.
3. Kanak-kanak yang berumur 5 tahun ke bawah adalah PERCUMA. Selamat datang untuk menyertai! Tiada pendaftaran diperlukan. (Tiada pingat, beg cenderamata, dan baju-T untuk umur 5 tahun ke bawah)
4. Dewasa dan Kanak-kanak (berumur 3 tahun ke atas) : RM50.00 setiap orang akan dikenakan.
5. Peserta bersetuju untuk memberikan maklumat yang benar, tepat, terkini dan lengkap semasa pendaftaran. Penganjur mempunyai budi bicara untuk menggantung atau menamatkan sebarang pendaftaran jika ia didapati atau terdapat alasan untuk mengesyaki bahawa maklumat tersebut adalah tidak benar, tidak tepat, bukan terkini atau tidak lengkap.
6. Penganjur tidak akan melayan atau bertanggungjawab dalam apa jua sebarang pertikaian yang timbul daripada butiran penyertaan yang tidak lengkap atau tidak tepat dalam borang pendaftaran dalam talian.
7. Selepas pendaftaran berjaya, Peserta akan dihantar Slip Pengesahan ke e-mel yang diberikan semasa Pendaftaran. Sekiranya terdapat percanggahan dalam pengesahan, Peserta hendaklah melaporkan percanggahan tersebut kepada Penganjur dalam tempoh lima [5] hari bekerja.
8. Slip Pengesahan adalah satu-satunya bukti sah pendaftaran yang disahkan. Peserta diminta untuk menyediakan Slip Pengesahan dan MyKad/Pasport yang sah untuk mengambil Pek Kit Acara Larian.
9. Pengisian dan penyerahan borang pendaftaran dalam talian mengesahkan persetujuan Peserta untuk mematuhi terma dan syarat yang berkaitan Penganjur dan Acara.
10. Penganjur boleh menghubungi Peserta dari semasa ke semasa melalui e-mel atau telefon. Sebarang notis yang dihantar ke alamat e-mel yang didaftarkan dengan Penganjur akan dianggap sebagai diterima oleh Peserta.
11. Sebarang pertanyaan mengenai pendaftaran sila hubungi [+60 11 - 5135 7640]

Liabiliti & Tanggungjawab:

1. Peserta mesti mengikut Laluan Larian masing-masing dan arahan Marsyal Acara, pegawai keselamatan dan trafik.
2. Haiwan peliharaan, basikal, kasut roda, kereta sorong, kereta sorong bayi, kasut dengan penggelek terbina dalam atau berpasangan dan apa-apa objek larian roda lain tidak dibenarkan pada kursus Acara dan Larian.
3. Penganjur berhak untuk meminda Laluan Larian sebagaimana yang mereka anggap sesuai untuk keselamatan Peserta dan/atau untuk mengelakkan sebarang bahaya yang mungkin berlaku.
4. Seseorang Peserta mesti menarik diri daripada Acara dengan serta-merta, jika dikehendaki berbuat demikian oleh Penganjur, pegawai Acara, mana-mana ahli kakitangan perubatan rasmi Acara atau pegawai keselamatan.

Koleksi Barangan:

1. Peserta diminta untuk mengambil T-Shirt dan Bib dari EcoWorld Gallery @ Eco Ardence, PT 8, Persiaran Setia Alam, Setia Alam, 40170 Shah Alam, Selangor dari jam 10 pagi hingga 5 petang pada 2 ,3 Ogos 2024 dan 4 Ogos 2024 sebelum 6.45 pagi.
2. Tiada pingat, beg cenderahati, dan baju-T untuk kanak-kanak berumur 5 tahun dan ke bawah.
3. Peserta diminta untuk menebus Medal dan Beg Goodie mereka selepas tamat Larian.
4. Semua Beg Goodie akan ditebus pada hari Acara itu sendiri. Tiada permintaan sebelum atau selepas hari Acara akan dilayan.
5. Penganjur berhak untuk menggantikan mana-mana barangan/ item Beg Goodie pada bila-bila masa tanpa notis terlebih dahulu.
