Last year's Together We Run was well received and widely acclaimed. This year, the SJK(C) Taman Rashna Alumni Association (STRA) has built on this success and after many requests, decided to host the 2024 Run again, vowing to make it even more exciting and outstanding than the previous year, to give back to our alma mater (SJK C Taman Rashna) and Klang community in a tangible way.
The run is not only a healthy outdoor activity, but also one that is rarely held in Klang. Apart from being physically fit, participants can also make new friends and contribute to the development of Chinese vernacular education, which is very meaningful.
Established in 2017, STRA has been upholding the philosophy of serving the community and supporting the development of our alma mater with the preservation of mother tongue education for the past seven years, and has continued to strengthen the functions of the Alumni Association by recruiting a wide range of members to improve cohesion. Therefore, the Alumni Association has decided to seek external funding for its activities in order to ensure the smooth running of its affairs and to jointly promote the welfare of the alma mater and the Alumni.
We would like to invite all members of the community to participate in this meaningful event “Together We Run 2024" on September 8. Your support will make the event a success and help the Alumni Association continue to fulfil its role of giving back to our alma mater and championing the cause of Chinese vernacular education.
去年，《忆童趣跑》深受好评和广泛赞誉。今年，巴生兰花园华小校友会再接再厉，在众多请求下，决定再次承办2024年度义跑活动，誓要比往年更加精彩和出色，以实际行动回馈母校和社区。
义跑不仅是一项健康的户外活动，在巴生区举办尤其难得。除了强健体魄，参与者还能结交新朋友，更可以为华教事业的发展贡献力量，意义非凡。
巴生兰花园华小校友会成立于2017年，在七年来秉承服务社区、协助母校发展与维护母语教育的理念，并不断强化校友会的功能，广泛招募会员，增强凝聚力。因此，校友会决定对外征求活动经费，以确保会务顺利运作，共同促进母校和校友的福祉。
为此，本会将于2024年9月8日举办《忆童趣跑》义跑活动。我们恳请社会各界人士踊跃参与这一别具意义的活动。您的支持将促成活动圆满举行，也能助力校友会持续发挥其应有的作用，继续回馈母校和捍卫华教事业。
