Terms and Conditions for
KWAP Inspire Conference 2024 Ticketing
1. General Terms
1.1. By purchasing a ticket to KWAP Inspire Conference 2024 (“Conference”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions.
1.2. The Conference is organised by KWAP, herein referred to as "The Organiser."
2. Ticket Purchase and Payment
2.1. All tickets must be purchased through the official KWAP Inspire microsite.
2.2. Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase using the accepted payment methods.
2.3. Once payment is successfully processed, a confirmation email attached with a QR code will be sent to the purchaser's provided email address.
2.4. All ticket sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or transfers are permitted except as outlined in these terms.
2.5. To process your registration and ticket purchase transaction (“Registration Service”), the Participant will be directed to a Registration Service provider webpage. Any information including personal data that the Participant provides to a Registration Service provider will be governed and processed pursuant to the Registration Service provider’s privacy notice available at https://www.ticket2u.com.my/PrivacyPolicy.
3. Early Bird Ticket
3.1. Early bird tickets are available for purchase at a discounted rate for a limited time or until the allocated number of early bird tickets is sold out, whichever comes first.
3.2. The early bird discount is valid only for tickets purchased within the specified early bird period as advertised in KWAP’s digital marketing platforms and media partners.
3.3. Early bird tickets are subjected to the same terms and conditions as regular tickets.
3.4. The Organiser reserves the right to conclude the early bird period ahead of its schedule or extend it without notice.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
4.1. The Organiser may at its sole discretion and without liability to the Participant, make changes to the Conference timings, schedule and/ or location (provided that any change in location shall be within a reasonable distance of the location previously advertised). Any changes to the particulars of the Conference will be notified to the Participant as soon as reasonably practicable of any substitutions, postponement, or changes via the Participant's provided email address and via the Organiser’s official website.
4. 2. In an unlikely event that the Conference is cancelled by the Organiser, a full refund will be issued to the Participant. Such refund shall constitute as the sole remedy, and the Organiser’s only liability to the Participant, in such circumstances.
4.3. If the Conference is rescheduled or postponed for any reason, the Participant will have the option to retain their ticket for a new date or request a refund. Such refund shall constitute as the sole remedy, and the Organiser’s only liability to the Participant, in such circumstances.
4.4. In the circumstances that the Conference is cancelled due to any event beyond the Organiser’s reasonable control and without fault or negligence of the Organiser, including but not limited to war, fire. flood, explosion, discontinuity in the supply of power, labour strike, pandemic or other emergency (“Force Majeure Events”), the Organiser in its sole and absolute discretion may: a) reschedule the Conference and/ or b) issue a partial/full refund to the Participant. The Organiser’s decision in such cases will be final and binding and the Organiser shall assume no liability whatsoever for such postponement or cancellation.
4.5. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made by the Participant, unless in exceptional circumstances at the Organiser's discretion.
5. Transfer of Tickets
5.1. Tickets are non-transferable without prior consent from the Organiser.
5.2. Requests for ticket transfers must be made in writing and submitted to [email protected] at least 5 working days before the event.
6. Entry and Conduct
6.1. Participants must present a valid registration confirmation upon entry to the conference.
6.2. Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner at all times during the Conference. Any behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive by the Organiser may result in expulsion from the event without refund.
7. Liability
7.1. The Organiser is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property that occurs during the conference.
7.2. Participants shall participate in the conference at their own risk and hold harmless the Organiser from any claims, liabilities, damages, or losses arising from their attendance except when the Organiser is fully responsible for such damages or losses.
8. Privacy
8.1. The Participant acknowledges that it has read, understood and agrees to the Organiser’s Personal Data Privacy Notice which can be found at https://www.kwap.gov.my/pdp-notice/ in relation to the processing of personal data by the Organiser.
8.2. The Organiser may collect personal data directly from the Participants, or from third parties who provide services to the Organiser.
8.3. The Participant acknowledges that the Organiser’s website may contain links to third party operated websites. The Organiser is not responsible for the privacy practices of websites operated by such third parties that are linked to the Organiser’s website. The Organiser encourages the Participant to learn about the privacy policies of such third-party websites. Once the Participant has left the Organiser’s website, the Participant should check the applicable privacy policy of the third-party website to determine how they will handle any personal data the third party collects from the Participant. Please contact the owner of the respective websites should the Participant has any questions on their privacy policies.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
9.1. The Organiser reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the Participant and posted on the Organiser’s official website.
