Details

Although FST was only officially established on 19 July 1999, the roots of science studies at UKM go back 51 years, to the university's founding. This marks FST's long-standing involvement in science education and research, which began with the creation of the original Faculty of Science in 1970. Now, 25 years later, the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) has undergone various phases of restructuring, challenges, and improvements. Over time, FST has achieved significant success at the international, national, state, and university levels, contributing expertise and knowledge to the progress of the country, religion, and nation. In celebration of an important milestone in FST's history, a running event will be held on 16th November 2024 as part of the Faculty's Silver Jubilee celebration. This event aims to commemorate the 25th anniversary of FST, strengthen the bonds between FST staffs, students, alumni and public, promote a healthy lifestyle within the FST community, and become a platform to invite alumni and public welcome to campus.
