6th Regional Process Safety Seminar - Influencing Human Performance will be organized at Doubletree by Hilton Hotel on 18 - 19 August 2015.
* This seminar will bring together thought leaders to share how cultural or behavioural interventions can be successfully implemented in tandem with engineering as well as having technical and systems aspects in place and adequately managed.
* Discover how human factors can be effectively applied to improve process safety and ultimately result in improved productivity and business performance.
Topics will include:
leadership in key process safety functional elements
role of the human and human factors in ensuring sustainable process safety solutions
recognising the complexity of performance influencing factors
hearts & minds program – a case study as applied in the oil and gas industry
maximising team performance in high reliability organisations
* A half-day workshop will be led by Ms Karen Jacka, an experienced human factors specialist, and will focus on sharing of practical tools that could be applied to address key human factors elements influencing process safety issues.
Complimentary half-day workshop led by Dr Alana Collis, technical policy manager at IChemE, on Chemical Engineering Matters. This workshop outlines how the profession makes an important contribution to building, maintaining and enhancing quality of life.
