Kinabalu Convention 2025: Terms and Conditions for Delegates (For Malaysian and International Participants)
By registering for and participating in the Kinabalu Convention 2025 (the "Event"), you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all registered delegates.
1. Registration Fees
1.1 The registration fee for Malaysian delegates is RM 2,000.
1.2 The registration fee for international delegates is USD 2,500.
1.3 All fees are inclusive of access to convention sessions and materials during the event.
1.4 Payment for registration must be completed in full at the time of registration through the Ticket2U platform. All registrations will only be confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
2. Eligibility and Admission
2.1. Only fully registered delegates with a confirmed registration will be allowed entry to the event.
2.2. Delegates must present their registration confirmation email and a valid Malaysian IC for local ticket holders and a passport for international ticket holders at the event check-in for verification.
2.3. If a delegate does not present a valid Malaysian IC when holding a local ticket, the organizers reserve the right to require them to repurchase an international ticket at the counter.
2.4. Delegates are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and any incidental expenses.
3. Transfer of Registration
3.1. Delegate registrations are non-refundable.
3.2. However, transfers of delegate registration to another individual are permitted. All transfer requests must be made in writing to the event organizers at least 20 days before the event.
4. No Cancellation Policy
4.1. Once registered, delegates are not entitled to cancel their registration or receive a refund.
4.2. If the event is canceled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, the organizers will notify all participants via email, and an alternative date or refund policy will be provided.

5. Event Program Changes
5.1. The event organizers reserve the right to make changes to the event program at any time. This includes modifications to session times, speaker lineups, or topics/discussions.
5.2. Any changes made to the event program will not entitle delegates to refunds or compensation.
6. Convention Sessions and Content
6.1. The schedule for convention sessions, including speakers and topics, is subject to change.
6.2. Presentation materials shared during convention sessions are for informational purposes only. The event organizers are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of the content.
6.3. Delegates are prohibited from distributing, recording, or using presentation materials for commercial purposes without written consent from the presenter or event organizers.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1. All intellectual property rights to the event’s content, materials, presentations, and recordings belong to the respective presenters or event organizers.
7.2. Delegates may not reproduce, distribute, or use any event content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
7.3. The event organizers reserve the right to use any content created during the event, including photographs, presentations, and discussions, for promotional or educational purposes.
8. Code of Conduct
8.1. All participants are expected to behave in a professional and respectful manner throughout the event.
8.2. Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. The event organizers reserve the right to remove any participant from the event without a refund if they violate this code of conduct.
9. Liability
9.1. The event organizers will take reasonable precautions for the safety and well-being of all participants during the event.
9.2. The organizers shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings occurring during the event.

10. Health and Safety
10.1. All participants are required to follow the event’s health and safety protocols, including any applicable COVID-19 measures.
10.2. The organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any participant who fails to comply with health and safety guidelines, such as wearing masks, social distancing, or providing proof of vaccination (if applicable).
11. Photography and Videography
11.1. The event will be recorded, and photographs and videos will be taken throughout the convention.
11.2. By attending, you consent to being photographed and filmed and agree that the event organizers may use your image or likeness for promotional purposes.
12. Force Majeure
12.1. The event organizers shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in performance due to events beyond their control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, strikes, or governmental restrictions.
12.2. In the event of cancellation or significant disruption of the event due to force majeure, the organizers will notify all participants and provide information on rescheduling or alternative arrangements.
13. Indemnity
13.1. Participants agree to indemnify and hold the event organizers harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from their participation in the event, including personal injury, property damage, or intellectual property disputes.
14. Personal Data
14.1. By registering for the event, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data for the purpose of event administration, communication, and followup activities.
14.2. Your information will be stored securely and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
