Terms & Conditions for Muslimah Fest 2024 Powered by Bank Rakyat at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre (MVEC)

1. Admission & Attendance

   • Entry to the event is subject to the purchase or possession of a valid ticket or invitation.
   • The organizer reserves the right to refuse entry or request attendees to leave at any time without providing a refund if they fail to comply with these terms.

2. Conduct & Safety

   • Attendees must behave in a respectful and lawful manner throughout the event. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
   • For safety reasons, attendees may be subject to bag checks, security screenings, and other reasonable security measures upon entry.
   • Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings. The organizer and MVEC are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

3. Event Modifications & Cancellations

   • The organizer reserves the right to change the event’s date, time, venue, schedule, or content without prior notice.
   • In the event of cancellation or significant changes, the organizer will communicate updates as soon as possible. Any refunds, if applicable, will be handled according to the organizer’s refund policy.

4. Vendor & Exhibitor Responsibility

   • Vendors and exhibitors are fully responsible for the setup, management, and security of their booths and merchandise.
   • Any transactions, product warranties, returns, or disputes lie strictly between the vendor and the attendee. The organizer and MVEC assume no responsibility for the quality or legality of the products or services sold.

5. Promotions & Offers

   • Special discounts, promotional rates, or offers are at the discretion of the organizer, sponsors, or participating vendors and may be subject to specific conditions and limitations.
   • The organizer reserves the right to modify or withdraw any promotion at any time.

6. Photography, Videography & Media

   • By attending the event, attendees consent to being photographed or filmed. The organizer may use these recordings for marketing, promotional, or archival purposes without further notice or compensation.
   • Attendees may take personal photographs or videos for non-commercial use only. Any commercial photography or recording requires written permission from the organizer.

7. Intellectual Property

   • All event branding, logos, and related materials are the property of the organizer or respective intellectual property owners and may not be used without prior consent.

8. Liability & Indemnity

   • Attendees participate at their own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organizer and MVEC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from attendance at or participation in the event.
   • Attendees agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizer, MVEC, and their affiliates against any claims, liabilities, or expenses resulting from their actions or negligence.

9. Force Majeure

   • The organizer and MVEC shall not be liable for any failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government regulations.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

    • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be settled in the courts of Malaysia.
