 About the Workshop:
In this 2-hour session, participants will learn to create a multipurpose pouch using plastic bags brought from home. You’ll get the chance to:

  • Learn basic sewing skills using a sewing machine.
  • Turn unused plastic bags into a creative and functional product.
  • Explore the value of upcycling and sustainability in a fun, hands-on environment.

This workshop is perfect for students and families looking for:

 Workshop Details:
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM (2-3 hours/session) (From 20th December 2024 - 16th January 2025 (Available in Every day except Monday))
Location: Puchong Branch & Bangi Branch
Capacity: Limited to 15 participants per session (pre-registration required).
What to Bring: Plastic bags from home – we’ll provide the sewing machines and tools!

Terms & Conditions

  1. Eligibility:

    • Participants must be 7 years old and above to join the workshop.
    • Children aged 7–12 are required to be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian during the session.
    • We strongly encourage parental participation to ensure a fun and safe family-bonding experience.
  2. Registration and Slots:

    • Pre-registration is mandatory to secure your slot. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
    • Each workshop session is limited to a maximum of 15 participants. Slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
    • Participants must complete the registration process, including providing accurate details and contact information.
  3. Materials and Preparation:

    • Participants are required to bring their own plastic bags from home as part of the upcycling activity.
    • All other tools, including sewing machines and additional materials, will be provided by the organizer.
    • A reminder and checklist will be sent to all registered participants prior to the workshop.
  4. Workshop Duration and Attendance:

    • The workshop will run for approximately 2–3 hours (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM).
    • Participants are advised to arrive 15 minutes earlier to ensure the session starts on time.
    • Late arrivals (beyond 30 minutes) may forfeit their slot without a refund or rescheduling option.
  5. Parental Responsibility:

    • Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their children’s safety, behavior, and participation throughout the workshop.
    • The organizer will not be liable for any injuries, accidents, or damage that occur due to participant negligence.
  6. Cancellations and Refunds:

    • Registration fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.
    • If you are unable to attend, please inform the organizer at least 24 hours in advance to allow us to accommodate others on the waiting list.
  7. Photography and Media Consent:

    • By participating, you agree that photographs or videos taken during the workshop may be used for promotional purposes (e.g., social media, posters, or websites).
    • If you wish to opt out of this, please notify the organizer in advance.
  8. General Conduct:

    • Participants are expected to be respectful and cooperative with the instructors, staff, and other attendees.
    • Any disruptive behavior may result in removal from the workshop without compensation.
  9. Certificate of Participation:

    • E-Certificates can be download at Ticket2U website upon completion of the session.
  10. Force Majeure:

  • The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the workshop in the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, emergencies). Participants will be notified promptly.
