Beaufort 60k Ultra Marathon will be organized at Sabah on 6 March 2016.

* The Beaufort 60km Ultra Marathon 2016 is an extreme, outdoor 60km ultra marathon on the plains of Klias taking runners from the town of Beaufort to the beach's of Kuala Penyu, rated as amongst the most beautiful in Malaysia under hot and difficult conditions with temperatures routinely surpassing 40 degrees Celsius to raise much needed funds for the Seri Mengasih center for kids with special needs. The cut off time for this race is 10 hours, a very generous time for the average and seasoned runner.

The Beaufort 29.5km category is a new category introduced in August 2015 due to demand by runners wanting to participate on part of the Beaufort 60k Ultra Marathon race course but on a shorter route suited to their individual capabilities and on the beautiful beach sections and road sections of this new race course designed by the Bandito Brothers in early 2015. Though this category does not quality as an ultra marathon, runners will have an opportunity to appreciate the heat and beauty of a portion of the ultra marathon race course.
