ROENTGEN RUN 2015 will be organized at Taman Rekreasi Bukit Jalil on 5th December 2015.
* Roentgen is the name of a German physicist, Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen, the first person who discovered x-rays. This great person has opened our eyes to witness the importance of having X-rays in the medical field. By using x-rays doctors can easily diagnose the pathology and diseases for further clinical investigation.
The significant reason this run is named after his name is to show appreciation towards his contribution in diagnostic imaging and radiology, and also to increase awareness of public in the radiation dose, cancer education and the early cancer detection.
This programme will be held in Taman Rekreasi Bukit Jalil on 5th December 2015, and will be joined by participants from National University of Malaysia, students from various IPTA and IPTS, and runners from all over Malaysia.
There are three categories offered including male (adult), female (adult) and children. The total distance offered for this run are 8km and 5km. At the end of this run, participants will be given goodie bags as the remark of contribution to this event.
