For children aged 8-14. For full schedule of workshops available during the Holidays please scroll down further to our profile page or visit itrainkids.eventbrite.com
In this workshop, we will be utilising MCreator to customise the Minecraft game with their own blocks, monsters and a bucket load more!
As part of this workshop, students will learn practically through rolling up their sleeves and modding Minecraft with their own unique ideas. For the more unique mods, students will learn how to modify code in the Python programming language to achieve the desired customisations!
We also conduct interactive group activities which demonstrate computer science concepts for beginner and eight hour workshops. This will be an unplugged activity (without computers) where we introduce your child to computational thinking through concepts such as binary numbers and data compression, separated from the distractions and technical details of having to use computers.
We end the workshop with a showcase where the children get to show off the game they made!
At iTrain Kids, we believe in quality of education which is why our half day workshops are capped at 12 students, and we ensure that at a minimum there is 1 trainer for every 6 students.
Anyone can learn to code with our workshop and no prior experience is required.
