Japan Graduate’s Association of Malaysia (Southern Branch) is organizing a meaningful event entitled, “Bon Odori”  on 23 July at Eco Business park 1. This event has the aim of cultivating Japan’s rich culture in Malaysia.

Bearing this year’s theme, 盛り (SAKARI), interpreted as the pinnacle of new era, it also connects to last year’s Bond Odori theme,  緑 (MIDORI). Both themes are inspired by EcoWorld’s company name 綠盛世.

As we can remember, Bon Odori 2015 at Eco Botanic managed to attract more than 23,000 visitors. This year, they have a goal to surpass it and expect to attract 50,000 and more people.

Guests and visitors will definitely enjoy this once-in-a-year event as it will be featuring highlights such as Bon Odori (Japanese Summer Folk Dance), Photography Competition, Stage Performances, Lucky Draw, and many more.

Experience authentic Japanese food at their 92 food booths and take part in their traditional games to know more about Japan’s abundant culture.

Take your Instagram-worthy photos with Japan-themed decorations inclusive of Torii Gate, Sakura Trees Street, The Maneki (Giant Lucky Cat), Kokeshi Dolls (Giant Japanese Doll), Chochin (Japanese Lantern), Koinobori (Japanese Carp Fish) and Tokyo Tower.

So, mark your calendars to witness and experience Bon Odori 2016!
