A household name among lovers of Hokkien music, Cai Qiu Feng has performed in concerts all over the world in locations like the US, Canada and Asia. She was only 13 when she came out with her debut album and since then she has released more than 30 albums. She is also well-known for singing the theme songs for many Taiwanese television drama series. 

Dubbed Queen of Hokkien by her fans, Long Qian Yu also began singing at a young age but her focus was then on Mandarin songs. She switched to Hokkien songs in 1987 and over the years achieved popularity for performing theme songs for many Taiwanese television drama series. 

Chang Hsiu Ching first stamped her mark for her brilliant work in impersonating other singing stars. She, too, began singing at a tender age—participating in a competition at eight and moving on to TV shows when she was 12. Among her achievements was winning the Best Hokkien Female Singer award at the 6th Golden Melody Awards in 1993. 

Chen Ying Git is not only a singer but is also a well-known producer. Of Taiwanese Hakka heritage, she produced many albums through the 80s and 90s. She has come a long way from the time she was a bar singer in a US Military Club when she was 18. Today, she has more than 30 Chinese and Hokkien albums to her name.
