第十六屆馬大燈籠節文化節 PTUM '16 Cultural Day will be organized at Empire Shopping Gallery on 10th - 11th September 2016 (Saturday - Sunday).

馬大燈籠節走出校園了！一系列精彩的活動將在校外進行，讓在場的所有觀眾對中華傳統文化有更深的認識之餘，也感受到濃濃的中秋氣氛。活動包括了各式各樣的工作坊如：迷你燈籠製作、剪紙與捏面人。不僅如此，當天還會舉辦填色及燈籠設計比賽。充滿中華文化氣息的二十四節令鼓、扯鈴和舞獅表演也會在文化節呈獻給大眾。
PTUM is out of the campus! A series of interesting activities have been prepared to convey the Tiong Hua culture to the public. Various kind of workshops will be conducted by the organizing committee such as mini lantern making, paper cutting art and flour figures. Besides, lantern design and colouring contest will be held to attract young generation to involve themselves in cultural events. Cultural performances like 24 festival drums, diabolo and lion dance will be performed to attract the crowd.
