This series of public forums is held to inform Members of the Bar about the proposed amendments to the Legal Profession Act ("1976"), the statute that governs the Malaysian Bar, as well as to obtain feedback from Members of the Bar. The proposed amendments to the LPA represent a serious threat to the independence of the Malaysian Bar. Admission is free but advance registration is required.
