Come meet and hear author and Langkawi-based naturalist Irshad Mobarak here at AweGallery on Saturday, 15th October 2016 at 3pm at his first Talk & Meet-the-Author session after the launch of his first book "Discovering Langkawi with Irshad Mobarak" on 29 September 2016. This event is open to PUBLIC.

Part travelogue, part reference guide, part storybook, this publication will take you on a exhilarating armchair voyage of the Langkawi archipelago through the lens of its most beloved naturalist.

About Irshad Mobarak
Based in Langkawi, Irshad runs nature-guiding company Natural History Tour and, as it Resident Naturalist, conducts interpretive walks at The Datai. Often referred to as the 'Junglewalla of Langkawi', he is a gifted storyteller and highly sought after speaker. He regularly educates children and trains outdoor instructors on nature and conservation and is a strong advocate for the conservation of Langkawi's fragile natural heritage.
