About the Book:
Written in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, the Malaysian Students’ Cookbook was written for money- and time-starved tertiary students. Featuring a mix of simple local and Western recipes, from hearty meals to easy desserts, this book aims to be a typical student’s balm for hunger and homesickness, despite a limited budget, time constraints and a lack of utensils.
About the Author:
Izarra Azuddin wrote this book as a Malaysian student studying in Melbourne. During her final year there, struggling with the discomforts of being away from home, she spent her days experimenting with her mum’s recipes as well as newly discovered food that were popular in Melbourne. She compiled all the recipes that worked for her, to help other students who also yearn for easy ways to prepare simple home-cooked food.
