WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS RUN?

Our aim is to raise the awareness of love and peace, which is also in conjunction with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Peace Is Possible campaign. This run is a fund raising project organized by JCI Malaysia Area Sarawak team. The funding is wholly used for Sarawak local organizations youth development program. WHAT IS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS)?

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a universal call to action to end proverty, protect the planet and ensure that everyone enjoy peace and prosperity. In Sept 2015, United Nations announced the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to be achieved by the year 2030, to replace the Milennium Development Goals that ended in 2015 and in Oct 2015, JCI Malaysia released a Declaration at its Annual National Convention to announce our commitment to help educate, promote, and conduct sustainable projects in line with the UN SDGs.
