Ms Yong Ching Ting's Studio

Born in Klang, Selangor. Ching Ting began her flute lessons at the age of 13, in Hin Hua High School Band. Before she entered UCSI University, she studied with Foo Chie Haur. Under the tutelage of her teacher, she obtained distinctions from ABRSM Flute Grade 8 and merit from ABRSM Theory Grade 8. She obtained the Licentiate of Trinity College London on 2016.In the university years; Ching Ting is frequently on participating recitals and chamber music ensemble concert. Ching Ting is also playing with Philharmonic Winds of Malaysia, Flutescents, MPYO, KLPAC Symphonic Band, SWONSO and Penang Philharmonic Orchestra. Ching Ting performed in the Jamboree concert in Dewan Filharmonik Petronas, June 2013. As well as perform in 2019 Australian Flute Festival, as the first flute ensemble from Malaysia been invited to Sydney, Australia. The Flutescents is one of the winners of ABRSM Malaysia Winds Prize 2019. She received the opportunity to attend the master classes conducted by Trevor Wye, William Bennett, James Galway, Adam Walker, Rachel Brown, Patricia Morris, Emily Beynon, Andrea Oliva and Julie Wright in Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore and UK. She also learned from Yukako Yamamoto and Ho Chee Kiang.In education, Ching Ting is a Kindermusik Licensed Educator. She attended a lot of conferences, trainings, and workshops for professional development, such as: ABRSM Teacher Seminar 2017, Building Blocks of Early Years Music Education & Musical Games, Dalcroze International Festival 2018, Kinderflute Teacher Traning Class 2019, International Kodaly Symposium 2019, Child Care protection training and many more.Ching Ting is one of the students of Trevor Wye flute studio in the year 2014/2015, which the studio has been awarded an A-rating Accreditation by the British Accreditation Council. Now, she is working as a flute teacher in international schools around Klang Valley and trial in MPO.
