The Borneo Half Marathon (BHM) is a running event in Kota Kinabalu, known for its scenic 21km route that passes through the city and along the coast. BHM offers two distance categories, 11km and 21km, and is organized by the Kinabalu Running Club (KRC), a passionate group dedicated to promoting high-caliber international marathons in Sabah. While it was previously named Kota Kinabalu City Borneo Half Marathon (KKCBHM), the event's name has been shortened for simplicity. BHM provides runners with a unique race experience on a different route from the Borneo Marathon, all within the vibrant city of Kota Kinabalu, held at Padang Merdeka.
